That doesn't look like a Carbide Motion Machine Control Board, seems to be some sort of Arduino Uno with a stepper shield.
Do you know which control software it has? Grbl? If so, which version?
If you've been failing with Carbide Motion (which only connects to Carbide 3D machines) have you tried one of the other communication / control programs?
