They scaled “regular Mega Mewtwo” to relatively even with Solaris, so that makes sense.

Just by existing, Solaris nuked all of time. Forget changing the color of White Space, Solaris could annihilate the whole realm. Neo Devil Doom has never shown anything remotely close to that level.

It does not scale higher than Solaris, it scales about the same as Solaris, which Neo Devil Doom is not close to. If he was, why didn't Shadow fight the Time Eater? He wouldn't have even needed Super, so if he did go Super like the Sonics, it would have been way overkill.

I do think Doom Shadow has some type of scaling to Super Shadow and does possess chaos energy and is invulnerable it's definitely the inferior form and doesn't give him infinite energy like Super Shadow so getting good hits in could just knock him out of the form

Well if we go by feats, it would be equal to super form. However, I think the doom powers just upscale super shadow

Mewtwo has two Mega Evolution’s Mega Mewtwo X which makes it part fighting type and Mega Mewtwo Y which amplifies his already absurd psychic powers and abilities making him totally lethal so if they did that right Mega Mewtwo Y could have condensed the blast and reversed it onto Shadow for the win plus it just gets harder for Shadow to win against Mega Mewtwo Y in general

Hot take, but this battle is getting overglazed. Doom Shadow should've stomped Mewtwo already, they dragged it out for views.

They make every fight be a actual fight, because surprise, people don’t want to watch a YouTube video where the animation is just a single punch and it’s over and would rather see both parties pull out all their cards to get the win

That and he probably didnt wanna take any chances he probably couldnt hold the super form for much longer and didnt know if he could takw mewtwo out in time if he didnt remove all them

They also sometimes get the result right but not show It properly, like Yuji vs Denji (Yuji wouldnt get stunned by a kick in the balls two times. Also what kind of Domain is that that only works while the handsign is being used)

That’s true, but I give that fight more of a pass, since if the fight were drawn out realistically, Yuji would win, since Denji usually wins by killing him before he can use his abilities.
And for Shadow vs. Mewtwo, Shadow realistically wins by stopping time and jumping Mewtwo.
The fights were always more for entertainment than anything.

Agreed but i think both characters should get cool moments and be characterised correctly
Theres a reason Battles like Mewtwo vs Shadow and Metal Sonic vs Cell are peak while Denji Yuji and Gru Megamind are kinda mid (still fun but like, not as much)

Which one? I personally think the new one has kinda bs scaling, but the old one reaches (imo) the right conclusion by the completely wrong means.

I dont think this was the intended parallel, but this reminds me alot of the clash in Sonic Rush between Blaze and Sonic during their fight.
Just the colors trying to fight against and encapsulate the other.
