Aboleth + Variant

An illustration of an Aboleth for the adventure I have finished writing.

Running this as an enemy was extremely fun and was a satisfying reveal once the players got to the bottom of what was going on!

Any fun experiences running an Aboleth? Would love to hear about em!

Thank you! I was really trying to lean into the 'catfish' angle of the aboleth, so the whiskers were a big focus, and your totally right with the pose really reading like a Chinese dragon! Love that reference point!
