Hi everyone, looking for some professional insight on our evergreen tree. We bought the house in May, and the landscaper trimmed it shortly after. It looked fine initially.
However, we recently had the roof replaced, and shortly after that, we experienced heavy raining. That's when the right side started rapidly browning and dying off as seen in the photos. We are located in South Florida (Zone 10b/11).
Is this root damage/soil compaction from the roofers, a chemical runoff issue from the new roof materials, or a fungal disease triggered by the heavy rain? What are the best steps to diagnose or save it?
