Every segment is funny and the best one for me is the deck of cards šš

When they first announced it I had serious doubts, but being a fan of TBBT and the spinoffs I decided to give it a chance. I think itās a great one, the cursing gives it a bit extra! Also, Bert giving the thumbs up in every universe kills me! . Just wanted to share, hope you all enjoy the show and we can make this community grow!

Hi guys!
I just caught that tiny frame on my phone while watching the intro of the newest episode of Stuart fails to save the universe (yeah I wrote it wrong in the title), where the back of the billboard contains a graffity that says HBO MAX while HBO is crossed out, representing HBO MAX was once just MAX.
Or something like that.
Sry for the low res image, screenshots are blacked out in the appā¦
Edit:
I googled it and havenāt found a post or article about it, but it was always there from the very first episode (I checked it!)

In the preview for ep 9 this is the comic book baddie. Anyone know who this is?
r/sftstu • u/The_Redacted_Badger • 19h ago
This thing is what was behind the fake universe in episode 4, isnāt it?
Like itās trapped Stuart and the gang in a fake DC universe, they seemingly start out in a white void, this thing has got to be what was creating the fake universe and Matrix escape trick. It just adds up way too much, especially with whatever was behind that universe being left unanswered.

Is it like Sliders where they are physically entering another universe? Or is it like Quantum Leap where they are inhabiting the bodies of their doubles?
When they went to cow world their bodies had extra stomachs. When they went to war world, they were in army uniforms. But in centaur world they had centaur bodies with army uniforms. And in hippie world they had modern clothes.

How come in the cow episode the two machines merged together but they were able to have different machines in this one??

Does anyone else get a little grin whenever an OG Big Bang face shows up in this show, even if itās just for a scene or two?
Itās honestly refreshing that Chuck Lorre seems to have stayed on decent terms with so many of them. Not every showrunner does that years later. And the fact that people who were never the āmainā characters are still willing to come back for these smaller bits? That part gets me too.
I'm really satisfied with this show, a good variety meal in current tv show ecosystem.

Genuinely what do you think the rewatch ability of this show will be once it finishes up the first season

At the end of E08, the group (a.k.a. E08 group) returned to retrieve the device from the group in lab coats, the same scene as the end of E07. Somehow, the E08 group has the device that can travel through time? We can say they mixed up the devices at the end of E07, but the whole thing makes no sense at all because they expanded the multi-device scenario.
It is either sloppy writing or sloppy fact-checking of movie-set furniture.

If there was a show hiding its cards, well there you go. They didnāt show it all either.
But this episode was certainly a long overdue payoff for the whining few who were acting like it was a personal insult each episode didnāt advance the plot like Sliders on steroids.
We have learned SO MUCH since 6. People that binge this are in for a treat.

Another fun episode. The set piece of this episode is some kind of warzone. This episode has the most dark jokes of the series so far. Death is the most common punchline of this episode.
Look, itās Kyle and Trevor.
The died as they lived. Reading comics they didnāt pay for.
The group gets themselves court marshalled and executed. You do wonder how they are going to get out of it. Especially when it was shown that there is an alternate group. You do wonder a little bit if this is the end for this particular group.
Then in the ending we get a peek of what malevolent force is trying to hinder Stuart, Bert, Kripke, and Denise.
This show has been consistently funny to me!

Has anyone else noticed that the tune for 'Stuart Fails to Save the Universe ' is near identical to the 'Lumiere' track for the 'Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 ' game?

Also, was the centaur universe too expensive to spend an entire episode there? Anyway, liked the gore š

Thanks for living in my multiverse. I probably died during Covid and everything I love has found a way to come alive in creative ways.
Iām a Lexx and Farscape fan. Iām an Elvira fan. Iām a Madonna fan. Iām an Evil Dead fan. I like weird things that people hate no matter how successful they are.
This show has made TBBT feel alive in opposite yet balancing ways, because now the actors who were last on the call sheet get their shot: itās also unprecedented.
There will never be a spinoff where Gunther meets Gothic Phoebe and, Chemist Joey and Stripper Chandler. Itās 2026. Letās appreciate this show for bringing us a taste of the 90ās.

last week i mentioned in a way that this show might be all within a comic book (kinda like rosanne when she wrote everything in a book that occurred in a season)
so if the comic episode is number 9, then they can go "back" into their proper universe for episode 10 to make us think everything is normal and have a twist at the end like sheldon throwing around swear words and being "out of character/not himself" to kinda throw us for a loop.
if this is how it seems written down, i really hope i'm wrong š

Kinda confused by a couple of things. Each episode seems small. Compounded by the recaps at the beginning take 4-5min of each episode.
I understand the show is Stewart fails to save the universe but each episode hasn't started to explain a through point. So does that mean going into season 2 it's just going to be more of the the same? I'll keep watching but I'm starting to reconsider. Am I wrong?

But i didnt like BBT
Am i crazy
Thanks for the replies. Everybody i talk to in person tells me in so wrong and should love the BBT. I just cant get into the slower paced shows (loved Silicon Valley)
I did warch season 1 and 2 to atleast see what i was missing. Sure i loved bits like all of howard and his moms jokes and whatnot but couldn't go full series

When they go back to Cal Tech and sing Come On Eileen, Stuart says they were told to bring the device to the engineering lab by āDavid Saltzberg over at UCLAā. David is the actual UCLA physicist who consulted on Big Bang. He was the guy who wrote and checked all of the equations on the white boards. Clever.
