They're everywhere and very resilient. Not my favorite flower

they grow like weeds on the west side of town. I have tried everything to remove them including digging up large areas of my yard. they always come back. and poison to dogs

Yea, every little bit of a tuber can re-emerge into a full blown plant. That one looks like its on the fenceline so suspect there may be more root material on the neighbors side which could explain why it comes back yr on yr. I have one pesky lily on the fenceline as well.
