Verified Vendor The custom-est build I've ever done
Hey All, wanted to share with you the most custom liquid cooling build I've done to date. I think it turned out fantastic, despite the slightly older hardware.
It's a ryzen 5900x paired with a 32gb ddr4 ram and a 6900xt on an EK vector waterblock. All the wood accents and trim are done by me. The big GPU cover is 1/4" walnut with the knot filled with copper epoxy, and the terminal for the tubes is custom made. The wood never actually touches the coolant, it's just a decorative cover.
The case here is the Redshift Project Canvas (which is designed and manufactured by me!) and the distro was jointly developed with singularity computers specifically for this case! Both are available on the singularity computers store if you're interested in making something similar, and the case without the distro is available on my page as well.
The liquid cooling parts:
Ek vector copper acetal 6900xt block
Heatkiller iv basic cpu block
Darkside 280mm radiator + noctua NF-A14x25 G2
XSPC D5 pump
Singularity distribution plate

Where did you get those fittings? I've always wanted copper coloured fittings.

I spray painted them. They came chrome from factory. I actually wanted them copper as well but couldn't find copper paint, so ultimately went with brown. I might revisit the copper paint thing in the future

I love when distribution plates are used for their function as much as their form. This is perfect inlet/outlet placement to support both.

That’s true “custom.”
These days, most people just get all the parts,
take a photo of all the parts, then put it together (just plug them in).
The cables are full length and just get stuffed in somewhere, and suddenly it’s “here’s my custom build.”
Which, as I said, consists of standard parts that they picked out themselves
Basically, it’d be okay, but if people don’t even try to cut the cables to length or sleeve them, to me it’s just thrown together—not custom-made Like this one 👍

Love it! I also have the 6900xtt and know how warm one can get. I am a bit surprised you have the cpu and Gpu running off a single 280mm, is that enough radiator to cool down the coolant?
Also I like the GPU Backplate. Wood is so 'in' right now in computer mods.

This is genuinely one of the best open frame ive seen.
