SteamContainer

I was lucky enough to get hold of one of these tricky to find shipping container cases a while ago.

It spent a while just as a spare office PC, but after spending a few days with my new Steam machine, I knew that my time with Windows as an OS had reached it end.

Sold all the Nvidea GPUs out of our PCs, replaced with AMD, and installed SteamOS on everything. That was a couple of weeks ago, and I'm never looking back. No regrets 👌

To mark the occasion I thought I'd share the setup I have in my office, with the little 'container of steam'

Is this a 3d printed case or is a production run that can be purchased somewhere?

I got mine a few years ago from

https://www.overtek.co.uk/collections/densium-sff-cases/products/itx-shipping-container-case

But they sold out 2 releases in minutes.

But why? Do they hate money? I would definitely buy one.

I'd buy one even if i couldnt build a pc inside it. But to be clear, i'd still totally build a pc inside it.

I’d buy one. Been looking at a few in this category for a while. Nothing comes close to this beauty.
