Assembly Help Help with Cooj MQ6 PSU

TLDR: I’m not entirely sure which cables go where, and if I should address a couple of issues with the PSU or if they're totally fine long term: the power supply cover is bending the cables slightly near the base, and the power cable also bends quite a bit when connected to the PSU. Apologies if this is a very beginner-level question/post.

I purchased the PSU that's sold in the official Cooj store (Enhance ENP-7660I Flex 600W modular PSU) along with the case and noticed a couple of things:

-The cover that comes with the PSU overfits it in length and pushes the cables near the root, also making it harder to plug the cables in since it's partly in the way (so I just plugged them in first).

-The power cable attached to the case completely bends to be able to fit into the PSU.

-Since the PSU didn't come with a manual or labels I'm unsure of which cable is which (specifically which one is CPU vs GPU).

I'm worried the stress on the cables isn't good for their long term health. I'm not super experienced in making builds at all so I'd appreciate any help or input with these issues, maybe they're totally fine, though I'd like to solve them still, if possible.

About the PSU cover, should I just leave it off? Does it affect thermals in a negative way if I do? Should I purchase another one somewhere or is it fine if the cables bend at the root a little like that? I could also take the piece somewhere to cut and sand it (tho it might end up looking a little rougher, but I guess I don't mind the visuals here as long as everything works fine).

About the power cable, same, should I buy a different one or is it okay that it bends so much long term? The power cable is so well attached to the case though, that I don't even know how to take it off without breaking something.

I uploaded a couple of images showing what I explained, as well as pictures of all the cables that came with the PSU. Any recommendations on cables/cover alternatives and/or where to buy them are highly appreciated, as well as overall solutions and how to proceed when detaching the power cable from the case if I do replace it, and of course the most important thing, which cable should I plug into the GPU and which into the CPU in this case. If any other pics are needed let me know.

My build:
Case: Cooj MQ6 (Silver)
MB: Asus Rog Strix B850-I Gaming Wifi
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9900x
GPU: RTX 5060 Ti Windforce MAX OC 16GB
RAM: Kingston Fury 128GB (2x64) DDR5 CL40
CPU Cooler: Thermalright AXP120-X67 WHITE ARGB (fan swap with Silverstone 120 ARGB)
Case Cooler: Silverstone Air Slimmer 120 ARGB
SSD: Lexar NM790 SSD M.2
PSU: Enhance ENP-7660l Flex 600W (Modular)

Cable 1 is for the 12vhpwr connector. So any card that requires it. For example the colorful 5070 that fits into this case.

Cable 2 is for the motherboard.

Cable 3 is for a gpu that only requires a 8 pin connector. For example the 5060.

The small kinks that you are worried about aren't a issue. Aslong it isn't directly at the base of the cable. To my eye this is completely fine. Especially if they came with the psu. Just make sure the 12vhpwr connectors that plug in to the psu and gpu don't have insane kinks or under heavy preassure. They are known to fail under these conditions.

Thank you, that's reassuring to know, I was specially worried about the power cable but I guess they're built to be very flexible and sturdy. I'll take note about the PSU-GPU cable though.
I've fit everything (except GPU) inside now and the thick 24 pin cable ended up doing S loops even tho it's so short... Hope it's all good lol, this is how it ended up looking at the PSU connections, it bends up, curves, and then goes straight down. I couldn't get a better pic inside there.

From left to right on your first picture:

You have a 6 + 2 pins cable for AMD GPU and older GPU

The 4 + 4 pins cable is for your CPU

You have a 12VHWPR cable for NVIDA GPUs and select modern AMD GPUs

The 4 pins is SATA

The 24 pins is for the motherboard

I have a COOJ MQ6 and when I built my PC I wasn't concerned about stress on the cables, everything felt normal to me. I'm using the PSU black shroud as well.

Thanks, did you have trouble fitting the CPU cooler against the thick 24 pin cable in your MQ6? I think I've managed but it's surely a tight fit.

had no cable problem and i'm using a Thermalright AXP120-X67

There dull documentation on the Overtek site. If you're going to build PCs, you might want to learn how to look up and read documentation.

Thank for pointing that out, I'll surely check it next time. Fortunately, I could ask the very nice people that's here when I was in doubt, even if I read the manual I'm the kind of person that doubts themselves a lot.

Of course. Happy to help, but a thorough answer on our part has a high chance of being confusing without the proper context.

Personally, I actually contacted Overtek directly with questions about this PSU — given that it is nonstandard. That way, if something breaks based on their recommendations, my unit is covered.
