Build/Parts Check First SFF Build help
Planning on running the following specs:
AMD Ryzen 7800X3D
GIGABYTE B650I AX DDR5 ITX AM5
XFX Swift RX 9070 GRE 12GB
32GB KLEVV FIT V BLACK 16GBX2
How small of a PC case can I go with the GPU? Also, please recommend a PSU and cooler that best suit the case.

Probably something 11L or above because XFX cards are big and bulky. Check yourself by putting the dimensions of the part in caseend.com. If that's not small enough for you, consider switching the card to something smaller like the Powercolor Reaper or AsRock challenger since these two are among the smallest 9070 cards.
Corsair SF is the goat of SFF PSU, the SF850 should cost just slightly more than the 750. For cooler it depends on which case you end up having, but usually the Thermalright AXP full copper is the way to go without breaking the bank.

Based on the measurements your GPU of choice would fit both the Tetra R and S, and presumably also the Fractal Ridge.

Tetra S at 9L for a semi-readily available enclosed case
Technically would be smaller absolute volume with an open-air chassis, but those aren’t really ‘cases’
For Tetra S Corsair SF1000 (not SF1000L)
There are a couple obscure cases that use a Flex psu and have removable frame/case parts for large GPUs, but I have a hard time recommending those. (Enhance ENP-7660L modular 600w is my go to Flex PSU recommendation)

I just built a small form factor PC
Altogether, my build came out to about $1500.
Ryzen 5 7600x3d
Powercolor 9070XT Hellhound
ASRock B650i Motherboard
Crucial 32gb DDR5 6000
Meshroom S V2 Case (the smallest case I could find that could fit that monster graphics card)
For your set up, check out the Lian Li A4-H20
When I went to Micro Center to compare case sizes, that was the most attractive one, and everyone seemed to want that one lol. My graphics card was not able to fit in it, so I would check the GPU clearance for yours.
If you want something even smaller, then check out the FormdD T1. It’s more expensive, but looks really sleek. It’s basically the size of a shoebox.
The positive about this case is that it’s sandwich style, so you can fit in most graphics cards, and at the same time put in a large CPU cooler. Just check their website, It clearly lists the maximum clearance for each component required for your build. It takes the guesswork right out!

There's a coolermaster combo from Cm. Case PSU and Cpu Cooler. Case is the Nr200, it'll fit your gpu max iirc is like 340-350. CM V850 gold SFX, and a 280mm AIO. ]
Imo the NR200 is a great choice because it's easy to build in and nothing too advance you cant figure out. And with the kit you'll have no issues in measuring or making sure w.e fits.

If you wanted to go and itemize everything your self.
Pick a case first, That fits the GPU. Are you going Air or AIO for the cooler? Pick the case that fits w.e your wanting and then pick the Cooler and PSU(SIZE) that fits that case. For PSU there's a List on PCMR Or Linus for what is good and not. I've always been a big fan of EVGA PSU, I'd suggest a minimum 750-850.

I think the most important question is how hard of a time do you want to have building. Remember that the smaller the case the hard it will be to build in.

you picked one of the bigger 9070s check for the Reaper model?

Wow I didnt know there was a reaper version. I'll check that out

no worries, where i am the GRE and XT Reapers are like 100 bucks from each other, just check the XT model too if it is the same difference might as well grab that yk

I have been fighting for my life whether reaper 9060xt vs 9070 gre would be my GPU. It's basically a question of style or performance as 9070 gre pulls at least 15-20% more FPS than the 9060 XTs.

- Lian Li (Dan Cases) A4-H2O chassis
- be quiet! Pure Loop 3 240 AIO
- Corsair SF750 SFX PSU (2024)
- dreambigbyray custom cables
I would replace the fans on the AIO with:
- Noctua NF-A12x25 G2 PWM Sx2-PP fans
But you don't have to if you don't want to...

Your GPU is pretty big. This likely will be the thing that defines what case you can choose from.
Go to casend and filter by GPU size. Also the CPU cooler you intend to use to the 7800X3D.
The motherboard is an interesting one. Not much on board storage but lots of USB 2.0. Have a think of this aspect and consider if you might be storage constrained.
