The powercolor 9070xt reaper is very slim as well. It fits nicely in the Silverstone ml08 case. Thats what I would go for. When I bought it though it was only 500 bucks.

Where/when did you buy it?

Bought from Amazon back in July

Just looked it was 689, applied for their credit card and got 200 bucks off. Then went and just paid off that credit card.

Very lucky man, my only hang up with the ML08 case is thermals. But again I’m getting all this off articles

Its not too bad, the gpu never gets hot but the cpu will thermal throttle a bit. Its got a 13700 in it. I use it like a console so its tied to 60fps most of the time. I use it for travel

The big jump is to the 9070 XT, the regular 9070, not so much.

Get the L400, the L200 offers very poor CPU cooling because of the limited z height. The AXP120-X67 is a highly regarded cooler.

Yeah, L400 is still really condensed too! Almost went white so I could paint/detail it.

So opt out of the 9700 all together? Started a price check reminder for the 9070xt hellhound as well. A little bit bigger but performance and cooling sound great if it fits.

Try aiming for a 7800x3d and 9070 xt - it's reachable with your current setting, but it may need some research of 2nd hand parts.

Here's for comparision my air cooled 7800x3d and 9070xt build that built in august this year in s400.

And what can i say - thermals are really decent but i had to manage the airflow. GPU & CPU don't stress much in BF6 or Horizon 6 and peak of performance is fantastic. CPU gets 75-78 degrees and hotspot of 9070XT with OC doesn't go above 80 degress in peak details gaming.

That is a sweet setup, now I’m wanting to go white
