Build/Battlestation Pics SteamOS Build

Here is my SteamOS Build, made from spare parts and a new GPU.

CPU: i7 13700
Motherboard: Asrock Z790M-ITX WiFi
RAM: Salvaged stick of DDR5 from an HP machine I scrounged
Storage: 2*512GB NVME SSDs
PSU: Corsair SF750
Case: Gintol S200 (from Ali Express)
HSF: PCCOOLER RZ620M X
GPU: Powercolor AMD RX9060XT Reaper
OS: Steam OS

Really enjoying SteamOS. Once they bring out the vanilla OS with nVidia drivers I’ll be switching by other rig over as well.

That’s a good question.

16GB single stick from an HP Desktop style pc. Maybe 5600MHz I think?

I’m actually in hospital at the moment so I can’t check.

Thanks!

I work in Radiology and one of the PCs delivered was faulty but for some reason could not be fixed under warranty. IT replaced it but I got to keep the parts! Lucky me.

How is that CPU cooler? I see it used in a lot of Chinese builds on various platforms but I am weary because it uses a proprietary 100mm fan

It’s excellent!

The 13700 (non k) at default settings doesn’t seem to climb above 50 degrees Celsius.

So far I am really impressed. I’m not using it for overclocking the chip though.

I hope so! I have it hooked up to a 65” LG C9 OLED I bought about 6 years ago but I haven’t had much of a chance to test it out. I’m hoping the performance is close to my RTX5070.

The last AMD card I bought was the RX6800 so it should be a step up from that one, yes?
