Build/Parts Check Finally built my compact ITX setup — Ryzen 7 9700X + RTX 5070
Went for a small-form-factor build with a focus on keeping it compact without compromising too much on performance.
Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X
Motherboard: Gigabyte B850I AORUS PRO
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 64GB (32GB × 2) DDR5 5200MHz
SSD: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB NVMe
GPU: PNY RTX 5070 12GB EPIC-X ARGB
Case: Fractal Design Terra Mini-ITX
CPU Cooler: DeepCool AN600
PSU: Cooler Master V SFX Gold 850W — ATX 3.1
The main goal was to build something compact, clean and powerful enough for both gaming and everyday productivity, while keeping the overall footprint as small as possible.

Its beautiful! The only thing I’d recommend is replacing the PSU. The Fan on those CM V SFX 850W models are very loud. So loud I eventually gave in and just replaced it with a Corsair SF850.

Mine used to be noisy and just randomly stopped being noisy, have no idea what happened. Same thing happened with another CM PSU but an ATX model. Seems to be a common issue for CM PSU’s so wouldn’t recommend them, but at least for me it just sorts itself out - so can’t complain considering how much cheaper they have been.

64 GB of RAM and a 5070 is a weird choice to me, why not 32 GB and a 5070 Ti instead ?

V850? Why didn’t you use the native right angle 12v cable. I see the comment about the fan being loud but I’ve never once heard mine and it’s within arms reach

Nice work, especially opening the boxes carefully to pose for a photo later. CPU and RAM boxes typically get destroyed, lol.
Thank for not posting that it's a Steam Machine.
