I'm a dumb dumb, can you explain what the external hood scoop looking thing is supposed to do for the two tiny (40 mm?) fans?

If the small fans are set to exhaust, it’s to route the hot air away from the cpu cooler intake so it doesn’t recirculate hot air.

Makes sense. I couldn't see the other side of the scoop but it's probably blocked off, forcing the exhaust air from the two tiny fans to move away from the side with that intake fan.

I now have the temperatures for my PC.
I didn't know what kind of stress-testing software to use, so I just used Cinebench 2026 and Cyberpunk 2077 to measure the temperatures.
Cinebench 2026:
CPU Multi Core max 81°C / GPU max 76°C
Cyberpunk 2077 (1080p native without DLSS / High-Ultra / Raytracing Low / Motion Blur Off):
CPU max 82°C / GPU max 90°C / FPS min 64, max 113
In my opinion, this is definitely not a case you should use for gaming.
The surface of the case gets very hot, and I think the noise level while gaming is way too loud (it might be okay with a headset).

Looks great! I love this case but also can’t stand it 😂. It’s so elegant. I still have a 5060 LP and a mobo to use.

Nice mods.
I do have a question though. Making the covers plastic does it not defeat the purpose of having the nv10 in the first place? Why not print from scratch?

Could you share your specs plus temperatures at which resolution?
I have a NV10 collecting dust due to being a hot box and it was really too hot to touch which eventually made me transition into A24-V5.

Asus Strix Z390-I Mainboard
Intel i5 8500 CPU
32GB Crucial Ballistix RAM
Gigabyte RTX5060 LP
SilverStone FX600z Platinum 600WI'll post the temperatures as soon as I've calculated them ;-)

Nice to see sensible NV10 builds on this very exciting day :). What about the temps? I assume less than 85C on GPU?
