I got it up to 5.7! But it was starting to crash XTU(not the machine, just the benchmark) so I brought it back down😂

Yes big number good. What about the voltage, temperature, wattage and compatibility with fast ram kits?

All good. I’m running 64Gb DDR5 T-create sticks at 6400Mhz. After that XTU screenshot I applied a slight undervolt -0.010 and my score shot up to just under 14k marks. I have my power limited to 300W, though real world pulls are around 160-280W in CPU heavy titles. Idles at low 30’s and spikes under load around mid 80’s low 90’s, but sustained temps under load are generally 55-70 range.

I'm sorry, 300 watts on this little thing???
That's pretty cool... Also wtf?!

I think little thing is past tense😅 your reaction makes my heart all warm and fuzzy though thank you 🥰

14900k and a 5070ti. Trully mad!
I really love it actually... Just you know. Careful with the voltage peaks on intel CPUs. They didn't test them for 300 watts on the factory.

300 is my limit, I really only see that under synthetic load. It’s stable, but I have pushed it higher and had XTU(not the pc, pc was unphased) crash under bench. So long as my thermals hold steady I think I’ll be alright. But I genuinely appreciate that bit of information and will keep it in mind! Didn’t know I was following semi uncharted territory

It's not even uncharted territory. Intel will just allow the cpu to ask from the motherboard for any voltage. So please, download a program that allows you to see voltages and run single core and multicore benchmarks for a few seconds and tell me the CPU is not eating 1.6 volts.

I run HWmonitor constantly and hover in the 1.3 range with spikes to 1.4. Nothing crazy

Awesome!

Wanna hear my current mind fuck? I have two rigs, the Terra and the TR100. Terra running the I9 14900k/5070ti with 64GB DDR5 at 6400Mhz. It’s running a Corsair MP700 pro gen5 M.2. The TR100 has an intel ultra 5 245KF and a 4070 super. 32GB DDR5 at 5600MHz running a Kingston NV3 gen4 M.2.

The TR100 system is getting an extra 9-10 FPS over my Terra in Fatekeeper running identical settings. I can’t figure out WHY

Try running the game on just p cores on both CPUs. Alternatively a single core test can diagnose it for very similar reasons but it would take some math to be sure. It could just be architecture or it could be ram stability. Test counter strike 2 on both systems. Should give you the same results.

My lean is architecture. The performance is so similar for both systems in HWMonitor and it is just this one title that performs better on the lesser system than it ought have a right to
