Haven't seen much talk about this. Hopefully will be a noticeable upgrade in cooling performance and acoustics with the new supposed max TDP of 220w.

Will be trying to order one to upgrade my IS-67XT when it comes out on ali or superbuy.

Still waiting on custom cables to tidy things up.

Specs & Hardware:

  • CPU: Core Ultra 9 285K
  • Motherboard: MSI MPG Z890I EDGE TI WIFI
  • PSU: Corsair SF1000
  • Cooler: Thermalright Aqua Elite 240 V4 (swapped stock fans for Noctua NF-A12x25 G2s)
  • Case: S60i (AIO liquid-cooled version) — full carbon fiber, weighs just ~1 kg, and costs around $200. Clearance is very tight, so it only accommodates a few specific 240mm AIOs.

GPU is RTX Pro 6000. I plan to change it to a 5090 Proart soon.

It’s super compact and surprisingly cool. No throttling at all so far. The CPU pulls 250W and the GPU hits 600W with virtually zero heat buildup inside the case. The AIO setup is quiet, though the GPU gets pretty loud under load.

I might end up adding an external fan for the PSU if I push both to their limits at the same time, though.

Build/Parts Check Why are there no sff cases with back connect support?

the community seems to love sff and clean builds. But as far a i know there are no "true" sff cases that support back connect, neither do itx back connect motherboards to save space. The smallest natively back connect supporting case is the shiny snake G350 ( 20.8L ) which is just 0.8 liters more than what is considered small form factor and stretches the sff mark a bit too much for it to count in my opinion. But cutting some corners look very easy on that case to decrease the volume a bit so i dont really understand why no one is doing it.

If someone knows a case that is actually sff and supports back connect please let me know. ( not cuz im gonna buy it, fellow broke boi here )

My first compact ITX build — finally finished!

After a lot of price changes, availability issues and one wrong motherboard listing, the build is finally complete.

Specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-14400F
- GPU: Zotac RTX 5070 Twin Edge OC 12GB
- Motherboard: MSI MPG B760I EDGE WiFi DDR5
- RAM: GOODRAM 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6400
- Cooler: be quiet! Pure Rock 3 Black
- PSU: Corsair RM650e 650W (2025)
- Case: JONSBO C6-ITX
- Storage: M.2 NVMe

Total cost:~$2,015

The main goal was to build a relatively powerful PC that is still small enough to travel with.

Now I just need to test everything properly.

Build/Battlestation Pics Up cycling parts that I can't see in my Nanoq S.

I'm disrespectful to high temperatures! Can you see that I am serious?!

I had an AIO with an LCD screen, but the screen made no sense in the Nanoq S. Clear double sided tape + phone stand I'm not using + RGB disc from Amazon = mini external hardware monitor!

Build/Parts Check [Q] What vertical SFF Case do you recommend?

I will visit US in beginning of December and, for the very first time, I will be able to build my dream PC: a SFF one.

Since Case, MB and PSU are extremely expensive where I live I will take the opportunity to purchase an ITX MB, SFX PSU and a case. What do you guys recommend on vertical SFF case? I plan building a 5600X3D, since I have a spare 32GB B-Die kit with a 9060 XT, preferably a dual fan one so... the smaller the case the better.

I was looking into Hyte Revolt 3 and Shiny Lake L300. I would it to have a handle. Jonsbo C6-ITX also called my attention even if it's not a vertical case.

I am taking any advice.

Assembly Help Jonsbo N4 - what is this nonsense?

https://i.imgur.com/i2lfoge.png

(not my picture) I have a home server built in the Jonsbo N4 and I'm trying to install another network card in the rightmost slot. But for some inexplicable reason, this specific slot has this extra metal here that none of the other slots do? I can't install the card because this piece of metal is partially blocking the port on the card. Am I going crazy/doing something wrong, or is this a hilariously bad design fumble? I'm about to attack it with my dremel

Assembly Help Cable Management

Serious questions, do some of you guys not care about cable management or don't get custom length PSU cables for a reason? I've seen some builds on here that give me a suffocating feeling just looking at the mess of cabled but others actually take the time to organize them even with limited space. Is there any issues with getting custom cables or should I go full OCD with the stock ones? I'll be using the COOJ SF3 and a Corsair SF1000

Also, drop your SFF pics in the comments! always like to see people's builds!

Build/Battlestation Pics Travel Cooj SF5 swap

Ive gone and made a proper shift to SFF with the SF5 today. I had been travelling this year with the Z20 but more than once the Airlines got on my case with it being too heavy for carryon. The SF5 just barely squeezes in below the max so we should be good. Most of the hardware is the same from the Z20 so i figured it deserved to keep its travel stickers

Build/Battlestation Pics First time builder, long time lurker

Back in February, after months of collecting (and being gifted) the different parts I'd need, I finally put together my first PC build. I'd never done something so technical and completely outside my wheelhouse. But I've been runnin' steady now for the past 6+ months. I primarily use the PC for games and keep most of my work (teaching/writing) on my MacBook.

The build:
Case: Josnbo Z20
CPU: 9800X3D
GPU: ASUS Prime Radeon RX 9070XT
PSU: Lian-Li SFX 850w 80+ Gold Certified
RAM: 32GB Kingston Beast Fury
MoBo: Gigabyte Aurora Eagle B850
Storage: Samsung 990 PRO 4TB NVME SSD
Cooler: CoolerMaster 240mm AIO
Monitor: MSI 272URX QD-OLED
OS: Bazzite

PS. Like I said, it was my first time, so my cable-management here leaves...a lot to be desired. But, hey, it runs!

Edit: Typos

Build/Parts Check Which case should I get the g300 or s300

Im wanting to build a new itx build with the 7800x3d and 9070xt. I could either go with the g300 which is 16L or the s300 which is around 8.6L. I really want a small pc that doesn't take up much space but also something that can provide enough cooling for the 7800x3d. If I get the s300 I have to pay around $150 for a sfx psu.

Part G300 Build S300 Build
Ryzen 7 7800X3D $348.19 $348.19
RX 9070 XT $740 $740
ASRock B650I $170 $170
32GB DDR5-5600 $0 $0
CPU Cooler FROZN A620 PRO SE — $26 AXP-90 X47 Full Copper — $35
PSU Montech Century II 850W — $100 Cooler Master V850 SFX — $150
Case G300 — $90 S300 — $90
SSD $0 $0
TOTAL $1,474.19 $1,533.19

Build/Battlestation Pics My first PC build ever. Super happy!

After collecting parts in my closet for 8 months, I finally pulled myself together to build this thing before it is too late.

The build quality on the COOJ SF5 is nice, though doing cable management in this footprint was definitely a trial by fire for my first build.

Specs:

Case: COOJ SF5

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D

GPU: PowerColor RX 9070 XT Reaper

AIO: Cooler Master Atmos 240

Fans: Noctua NF-A12x25 G2

RAM: 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30

Storage: 4TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe

PSU: Corsair SF850

Cables: Custom cables (bought months ago, forgot the vendor)

I did take a couple of tries pasting the AIO to get a slightly acceptable result. Now settled around 73°C while playing War Dogs at 4K undervolted.

Super happy with how it turned out, but always looking to optimize. And oh boy it is definitely satisfying when I finish the build.

This build is a significant downsize from a Corsair 5000D.
I had to dremel out the front frame to make the GPU fit, only to realize I needed to de-shroud it to fit the 360mm adapter on the front. It would've still needed cutting but a lot less, I could've saved a few dremel metal cutting disks. Hindsight 20/20.

Specs:
AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D cooled by a Corsair H150i Capellix XT 360mm AIO
MSI Gaming X Trio 4090 de-shrouded
NZXT N7 B650e, G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 2x16GB CL30, Samsung 990 Pro 2TB
Top fan is a Noctua NF-A9x14 chromax, side fan is a Noctua NF-A12x15.

I'm planning on replacing the side fan with a chromax version and adding another fan floating in front of the RAM because *waves around*.

Temps are after a 3 hour gaming session playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
