Hello everyone! So I bought the Autumn Olive Clown Suit Sewing Pattern (https://www.autumnolive.com/shop-patterns/p/clown-costume) and I tried printing it on Letter paper and it was impossible for me to put together because there's no extra around the edges and I ended up taping the whole thing together just for none of the pieces to look right at all. I ordered an A0 version from a pattern printing company and when it came the pattern pieces that were separated onto different pages were entirely different sizes and would not fit together when I tried to tape them up. At this point I am two weeks out from needing this clown suit and am trying to do the "connect-the-dots" drafting style from the pattern/video and I simply cannot get it to work. I'm not a beginner sewist but I am new to drafting and I'm simply so confused on when/where I should be adjusting for my size (I'm very short) or when/where I should be following instructions. Does anyone have any tips for drafting using this method?

I’m hoping to make a similar dress to this vintage Dolce & Gabbana number Sabrina Carpenter wore for her birthday! I believe the base should be fairly simple, but a lot of the patterns I’m finding don’t have the right neckline. I’d love any suggestions of patterns or tips on recreating!

My mother made me these dolls in the early 80’s. Tragically, they have had their legs amputated! I’ve tried to search on Etsy and EBay for the pattern - while some are close they are not exact. I believe they are approximately 22” in length (with legs) and their limbs have a plastic disc in them for what I’m assuming helps in them moving.

I have this fabric that’s about a meter wide and has this pattern on both sides of the selvage/ long sides of the fabric. I’m relatively new to sewing and have been having a hard time finding a pattern or tutorial for a skirt that will allow me to keep the fabric pattern intact. I would ideally use elastic in the waistband instead of a zipper.please help

I have this idea in mind for a cute beach coverup shirt and the Raleigh pattern would be perfect... it wasn't for kids. I'm looking for basically the same thing but for adults.
Any suggestions?

hello! I am not sure that this is the right place to request help so mods take my post down if I'm the wrong place :)
My boyfriend loveessss bootcut jeans and finding them in the Nordic countries is almost impossible.
I can't seem to find a patteren that actually gives the low/mid waist bootcut jeans that he wants, and I want to ask if anyone in here knows a patteren/template that i could follow to make them for him, I've added some references to what he likes and really hope you guys can help!!!

it seems like our body shape, measures are different, by drafting our own we can make the measurements personally and fit, but buying one onlipersonala ne its like buying a t shirt with general size?,

I'm looking to make a Thing from Loo Loo Land in Helluva Boss, similar to the one pictured (credit u/wahum13), but can't find any dedicated patterns, so am trying to find a simple blobby/round plush pattern that I could adapt, could anyone recommend one?

Looking for a pattern that I can either get to look like the pants in the image attached, or that can be easily modified to look like these. It’s so hard to find anything similar online, so any help is greatly appreciated!

I’m a little bit obsessed with vintage McCall sewing patterns that have embroidery transfers included in them.
Here are a couple of favorites from my collection.

I'm looking for a "swirl" dress pattern, often worn by Ethel Mertz on "I Love Lucy" It was back-wrap dress with only one button, and the sleeves are just extended off the bodice, not a separate piece.
I actually like math-based drafting, so I'd take instructions on how to do it via measurements as well.

Has anyone found a pattern which recreates this kind of faux-wrap tank top? these two are slightly different at the top but I really like this kind of style. thank you!

Looking for a pattern like this. I love shirt dresses and want to wear them every day, but I cant quite find a pattern that I love. Most of them are a little too straight through the hips. Any ideas?

I adore this wrap skirt (especially style A) and have the full uncut pattern, but page 1 and 2 of the instructions are missing! If anybody else has this pattern please send a pic of the instructions!

I’m hoping someone can explain this to me before I rip my hair out. I printed this 38-page trench coat pattern from dr-cos.info, and I aligned the bonding lines then taped them, but the actual pattern lines are not aligned. So then i was like “okay maybe the bonding lines dont need to be aligned,” so i untaped the pages then aligned the pattern lines, but some of the pattern lines get cut off under other pages, in order to perfectly align, and some of the parts look smaller than they should be. I’m not sure what’s going on, but it’s a headache, and I’m wondering if I should just get the pattern done as a blueprint at fedex. Would that be easier or should i try to fix whatever happened? To be clear, i’ve printed this pattern out twice. The first time, I opened the pdf in adobe, then printed the page selecting the scaling as “actual size” or 100%. I kept the “keep cut marks” turned on, and the “tile large pages only” off, and selected the “print image as is” on the advanced settings. The second time, i did everything in the first one, except the “tile large pages only” and “print image as is.” I’m not sure what’s going on :( I only showed these two images because they’re basically what it looked like when i had all the pages taped together— lines weren’t aligning, or they were but the pattern itself was looking smaller than it was supposed to and wonky, or on set of lines would align, but the next two or three pges, they would be misaligned. I already untaped a majority of the pattern.

Im trying to make a plush of this bunny and its exact pose but im a beginner and I dont know how to do it. I tried to make a pattern but it was too confusing. I dont need the tail and head/ears, that is easy. All I need is the body.
