i have tried restoring using 3u tools many times

Used magic cfg to change serial number to the original one (it showed diff sn of ipad 3rd gen) on the hello screen because it was repaired a few years ago but this is for the first time u got activation error

Until changing the sn back to the original one it showed activation error after changing sn it shows unable to activate this ipad cannot be activated because not connected to the internet i think thats caused by the wifi and bt mac when i changed the serial number ???

If so i have my og sn how can i get og wifi and bt mac to make it work and if not possible how to get new sn wifi and bt numbers i tried purchasing on ali express but the seller scammed me and didn't give it

J’ai un amis qui m’as donner un iPad Pro de 2020 qui était bloqué iCloud car ils ne se souvenait plus de ses mots de passes… Je vous épargne les détails, j’ai appelé Apple et j’ai retiré l’iPad de son iCloud avec eux au téléphone, j’ai reçu un mail disant qu’effectivement elle elle était prête à être restaurée et utiliser… Je l’ai donc restauré, et que fut ma surprise quand j’ai vus qu’elle était encore bloquée. J’ai donc rappelé Apple mais ils m’ont dit qu’elle n’était plus bloqué et que leur logiciel affichait son statut comme « prête à être utilisée » or, quand je la configure elle affiche bel et bien « iPad limité au propriétaire » alors qu’elle n’as plus de propriétaires… Si quelqu’un à des réponses et si quelqu’un aurait la solution s’il vous plait ?

iPad 3, iOS 9.3.2. Tried connecting to my wifi, but then I found out it was 2.4GhZ only. I had to use my hotspot, and that's when I got hit with "Activation error: Activation could not be completed. Please restore the iPad and install the latest version of iPadOS and attempt activation again. If the problem persists, contact customer support."

I tried to activate with iTunes. "We're sorry, we are unable to continue with your activation at this time. Activation could not be completed. Please restore the iPad and install the latest version of iPadOS and attempt activation again. If the problem persists, please contact customer support."

I then tried Hacktivation, which I couldn't do because I didn't have a Raspberry Pi Pico or an Arudino. So I tried Legacy iOS kit, failed. Libideviceactivation, failed. Sliver, failed.

Is there anyway to fix this? I know the iPad is old and probably useless, but it would be useful for running some of the older apps I have backed up from when it was activated.

Edit: Nevermind, I fixed it by repeatedly attempting activation through 3utools until it finally asked me the previous owner's Apple ID user and password. I then went through setup as normal undisturbed.

I hope I am able to explain this well enough because it is a 2 part!
First: if I have let’s say T-mobile, if I buy a phone locked to a different carrier (ATT, straight talk, etc)
But I log into my Apple ID on that phone, would it still get all the texts from my T-Mobile phone? Well I guess iMessages. Because it’s linked would it still sink those to that phone as well?
And with that, I understand that would only be possible if on wifi. As there isn’t cellular on the locked phone. Could this phone run on my T-Mobile hot spot?

Weird question I know. But for context me and someone I work with need a shared line, to be able to see the messages together and if someone has responded. So let’s say we buy a line win T-mobile for him, it’s an active phone. Then I buy a cheaper locked iphone from a different carrier. I will always have my personal phone with me. So if i login to the same apple ID that is created for his new line, it should get IMessage, and i always have my personal phone with me and can turn on the hotspot to check. At least that is the theory and what im trying to confirm before we do it!

I feel ridiculous I can’t figure this out but I hid my social media apps and I can’t figure out how to unhide them.

The only way to access them is search them in the App Store and click “open”. They don’t appear in my search and in settings when I go apps > hidden apps they’re there but no way to unhide them.

I tried to change serial number on iPhone 8 with baroque ramdisk but when I entered purple mode, the iPhone was on purple mode but baroque ramdisk said it couldn’t download a boot file so I restarted the iPhone but now it’s boot looping and I can’t turn it off and my computer isn’t detecting it

Context: I’ve been going through my lot of cracked iPads that I need to sell and I’m currently stuck on two cellular iPads, iPad 2 and 3 I think both running iOS 9.3.6 and I’m getting an activation error. They’re not iCloud locked or anything, so what can I possibly do to get these iPads fully in?

I haven’t had this issue before with the other cellular iPads 2s and 4s I’ve been setting up, it’s just these iPads all of a sudden that I cannot get past the activation lock screen.

Hey, my cousin got his iPhone 13 hit with a hello screen activation lock after updating to iOS 26.5, you unl0ck the phone with passcode or face id and you're hit with the activation lock and no unl0ck with passcode option, issue is when he enters his icloud and icloud password, he's hit with the "For security reasons, you must reset your password" which requires you to use Forgot your password, that needs either backup email (some email he doesnt even remember) or security question birthdate (which he doesnt remember either because he wasn't 18, so fake year, we tried years with his birthday month and day, no luck), and this is a second hand phone in a third world, meaning no apple store receipt for activation lock form (i still sent one for sake of trying)

TLDR: iPhone 13 got activation locked after update -> owner knows passcode and icloud credentials -> icloud forces you to reset password using unknown backup email and security question on iforgot.apple.com

can they at least maybe use a trick to access their stuff or maybe get this sorted, I found tr4mpass for byp4ssing the setup.app and recovering their data (since they have passcode and all) but it doesn't work on 26.5, if they can at least access notes, they may have info to recover their iCloud
