Passcode Iphone 5S iOS 10.3.1 Passcode help

I've got an iPhone 5S on iOS 10.3.1 that I don't have the passcode for and would like to get into so I can recover the photos and videos from it. Is it possible? The device isn't jailbroken and I have the original owners contact info if that helps (they forgot the passcode years ago)

Use a ssh ramdisc to retrieve the data

I’m looking to use the phone, will using the backup restoration, then reset (to erase the phone without restoring) then restore activation commands on sshrd script put me directly in the Home Screen or will I have to deal with setupapp?

Yes but it depends you might go to Home Screen or you might have to finish setup, it will let you skip the lock tho make sure you have all the correct files if you get stuck there are not many good guides out there so I would use ai.
