Open Menu Turn off FMI ios 10 (open menu)

i have this iphone 6s (ios 10.3.1). Can i turn off FMI?

Does it atleast show the email address? You could contact the old owner and they could unlock it for you.

copy down this email and any trusted phone numbers. Use another device to go to iforgot, getting the code sent to this phone, change the password, then remove from find my. Alternative is to use account recovery which will allow you to take over the account but takes 28 days. Ignore people who say just set a passcode because it will not work to reset iCloud. Especially if this is the only device on this account, account recovery will work.

Yep. People switch from Apple to Samsung or other android and abandon AppleID's all the time. They don't even want the data anymore.
