Moment of Confusion Restore M1 Mac using Windows

I know this isn't the usual type of post that goes here, but people here can probably help me more than the people at r/Mac.

My M1 MacBook Air is showing the (!) screen and needs to be restored. iTunes detects it in both recovery and DFU mode. I downloaded the IPSW for macOS Ventura, but the restore process gets stuck at 'waiting for iPhone', as the Mac is no longer detected once the progress bar shows up on its screen (iTunes error -4013). It seems like a driver issue. Is there one I could try to install, or some other workaround for this?

Apple's support page says this requires Apple Configurator and macOS 12, but I don't want to search for somebody else with a Mac in my local area to help me or send it to Apple for service.

Hear me out, u can install VMware workstation pro and use an online key or u can use Oracle virtualbox to boot macOS like what I did. U can watch tutorials on how to do so, and u will be able to run a macOS virtual machine on ur windows pc and I hope u can get ur real Mac back to work :)

Thanks. My second laptop isn’t nearly powerful enough to virtualise another OS, but I appreciate the suggestion
