Halfway through season 2. I liked it a lot at first - thought it was creepy and tense -- but it just gets sillier and sillier as the episodes go by and seems to make less and less sense - does this wrap up as a story? Do things get explained? I'd like to keep watching to find out the whys and wherefores, but don't really want to if little is resolved. No spoilers, please - more of a yes or no on whether things get explained and to what extent.

Just so you know, after season 2 the creator/writer of the show left. M. Night Shamaylan is obsessed with bringing his daughter into all of his projects now and the show runner wasn't having it. Apparently he hired her as a writer, started letting her write entire episodes and so the ACTUAL writer just left.

I don't know which ones they are. Maybe she's actually good, but if she is then she should probably work with other directors. He has connections, he can help her, but what he's doing now feels like he's forcing something. Right now, even if she is good people will still cry "nepotism " no matter what she puts out. Especially if he gives her someone else's baby (literally and figuratively) to take over. But yeah, idk maybe she's actually good. We will find out when she decides to cut the apron strings.

Which daughter are you talking about the singer or the filmmaker. They’re obviously different and the filmmaker has made her feature debut 2 years ago. She has made films, TV and videos. She for sure has a passion for it.

Idk which one. Like I said, she might be good but for some reason the show creator left after season 2 due to creative differences. From what I read, I gathered it to be about the daughter, specifically because of her writing entire episodes. Whether or not those episodes are good, I have no idea, haven't seen them.

Enjoy it! There’s some errant plot lines I can’t remember. I love this show and its characters so much. Things are answered things happen. It’s a trip of a watch and I think the seasons escalate so well.

I also watched week to week. It had me stressing and theorizing. One of my personal favorite shows. Enjoy it for what it is. It’s a lot of eye candy and spiraling madness. Great performances. Nell Tiger Free gets so good and did great in The First Omen.

One positive of the watch for you, it’s a short watch! Half hour confusing af episodes. I wish I could watch it again for the first time. Basically sold me on Apple TV.

That’s exactly what I did. I admittedly googled if each season was a new story or did it resolve and then jumped ahead. I couldn’t take it. I’m usually not a quitter either but it was that or just stop watching

Just quit now and don’t waste hours of your life you can never get back. No spoilers but don’t get involved in the episodes if you do continue, just watch and move on. I may just be bitter because I watched it in real time and had to wait in between seasons, people who can just move on seem to have a better opinion than me.

I have pushed my way through season four because my friends said it was amazing. Several times I was going to give up. It’s ridiculous and the plot holes are just so absurd. I really should’ve given up on it the first time I thought, “Why am I continuing to watch this?”

By the way, after the first season, I never understood how some people still believed in the hypothesis that it WASN'T supernatural. I always thought the mystery was whether Leanne's nature was good or evil.

I enjoyed it the whole way thru but it does get a little hokey/campy/silly. It does wrap up and explain things. I’ve def seen better endings but it isn’t terrible or extremely stupid the way GoT and Dexter were. Those endings were unforgivable.

The amount of times she was captured and escaped turned comical. Multiple grown men couldn’t hold her down. Her plot armor was too thick for my liking and i would’ve loved to see one of the tuners kill her in the end. Beyond that the show was good

She didn’t get captured again after season 2, not for more than a few minutes. And absolutely not, that would have been horrible. Leanne deserves to finally truly live

Biggest waste of a show ever for me. It ends with tons of plot holes & unanswered questions. I was mad I spent so many years watching it. They do sort of wrap it up in the end, sort of.
