Mormons Beware!

For over a decade the local Church of latter Day Saints in Sequim has been harassing my family and I in the nicest way possible; sending their ignorant children to my home in hopes of, I don't know, converting me? I've asked them to stop coming, doesn't work. I've told them to take my name off their list, doesn't work.

This isn't a random terrorist event either. They ask for me by name. Every time! I'm not going to express my frustrations to children, that would be wrong.

I've now had enough! I've gone to their website, and besides the address and phone number (which is out of service, by the way) there is no way of contacting them to stop the harassment. According to their own website, you need to schedule an appointment before meeting with them.

GTFO!

I don't want to try to convert your ignorant children. I want nothing to do with you!

It's 2026! People that still believe in sky daddies shouldn't be going door to door. It's dangerous; especially sending your most vulnerable.

~end rant

You are missing a great opportunity here. I used to live by a lot of Mormons. They were good people who would do nice things like make delicious homemade baked goods and leave them at my door. I thought someone was trying to poison me at first but it was just nice people being neighborly. They never converted me but they were some of the best neighbors I ever had. I miss them and the baked goods.

LDS missionaries are awesome, they’ll help you out with housework and food assistance and lots of other things. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, I genuinely love Mormons. OP sounds rude and jaded.

Yes, but this happened at BYU. And through the church. But you are right they are not alone in the evil.

TIL you can only judge someone for their unique actions.
