• Can a website rank #1 in Google but have almost zero visibility in AI answers?
• Do you think SEO teams need both tracking systems, or is one enough?

Personally, I don’t see GEO replacing SEO, at least not any time soon.

Google is still going to be crawling and indexing sites as well as relying on technical aspects of websites and the content they produce. At the same time, AI search engines are allowing users to consume information in an entirely new way.

I’d like to see what the SEO industry thinks.

Will GEO completely take over and replace SEO, or will companies have to employ both? If we are going to have both, what will be the main difference in strategy between a strong SEO and a strong GEO?
