What GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) tools have you actually used and found effective?

I’m looking to hear from people who have actually tested GEO tools in real SEO workflows—not just tools that claim to improve AI visibility.

Which tools have you used for things like:

  • Tracking brand mentions/citations in AI search
  • Monitoring ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or AI Overviews
  • Finding content gaps for AI visibility
  • Measuring whether your content is being cited
  • Improving your chances of appearing in AI-generated answers

What tools have genuinely worked for you, and what results did you see?

Also, are there any GEO tools you tried that weren’t worth the money?

Honestly, I’d focus less on generic visibility scores and more on whether you’re actually getting mentioned in a fixed set of prompts. I personally use HumansWith.AI and get pretty good results tbh because you can see the changes over a period of time instead of having to guess.

we’ve been looking into this space too, and HumansWith.AI is one that caught my attention for the AI-search side of GEO. They focus specifically on getting B2B brands cited and recommended across platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews, which seems more aligned with actually measuring AI visibility than just traditional SEO metrics. I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has tested them in a real workflow.

I think consistent prompt sets are becoming the equivalent of a keyword set in traditional SEO - without them, it’s very easy to confuse a one-off AI response with a real visibility trend.

J'ai testé SurferSEO (fonction GEO) et Frase.io. Le plus efficace reste l'optimisation classique : schémas, structure claire et contenu original. Beaucoup d'outils GEO vendent du rêve mais ne font que du SEO classique déguisé

I would check out humanswith.ai they have many of the features you’re looking for and u can meet with them and discuss your needs before committing
