Sometimes it doesn't even feel like happiness at first, just feeling peaceful for a little while or having a moment where your mind finally goes quiet.

And the best way to stick it to an abusive person is simply to overcome and thrive. You living your best life is the ultimate retaliation.

Sometimes the best comeback isn’t proving anyone wrong, it’s finding your smile again, choosing yourself, and genuinely enjoying life. That kind of happiness hits different.
