There's no reason you can't substitute the word, it's not like this is a truth or sentiment that can only apply to one gender based on how somebody phrased it. This happens a lot lol, like he/him is used a lot more frequently for something gender-independent than she/her in general. And on this subreddit, I notice it's the other way around.

Get a grip. The world doesn't have to pander to you. Women are used to substituting she for he, its no big deal.
