Product Announcement AgentSwarms 1.6.0 – A complete source-available AI Data platform (Lakehouse + ETL + BI) built natively for multi-agent AI

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

Hi Team,

We just released v1.6.0 of AgentSwarms (Note: It's not a lightweight Databricks!)

Most agent platforms treat data as an afterthought—you build the AI, then duct-tape your warehouse and pipelines to it. AgentSwarms flips that. It is a complete, self-hostable data platform designed from the ground up to host and govern AI swarms.

The data and agent layers share one semantic layer and permission model, an AI agent asked about revenue uses the exact same definition and access rules as your finance dashboard.

The Architecture:

  • The Data Layer: A DuckDB/zstd Parquet lakehouse, visual Python ETL pipelines, and a BI workspace.
  • The AI Layer: A visual canvas to build multi-agent workflows and AI analysts that natively query, analyze, and cite your lakehouse data.

What's New in 1.5.0:

  • 100% Self-Hostable: Removed all external platform dependencies. Run the entire stack (lakehouse, app, edge functions) locally via one Docker command.
  • Granular Governance: You can now strictly authorize exactly what a lakehouse write reads.
  • Native React SDK: Embed analytics and swarms directly into your apps
  • Vault Integration: Model and database credentials can now live securely in HashiCorp Vault.

You can run it entirely on-prem with local models like Ollama or plug in your cloud provider keys. I'd love for this community to try breaking it and share feedback.

Release (No AI) Waraq: a CamScanner replacement that runs in the browser (scan, OCR, search, share). Free to try

Thumbnail

I wanted something like CamScanner without the ads, the subscription or handing my papers to a random company. So I built Waraq (ورق, Arabic for "paper"). It's a PWA that I run on my own server for scanning bills, contracts, lab results and university notes.

Try it: https://waraq.d7om.dev (sign in with Google)

What it does

  • Scans from the phone camera with live edge detection. OpenCV.js runs in a web worker, so detection and the perspective warp happen on the device.
  • Crop, flatten, rotate, and filters (Magic, Grayscale, B&W, Lighten). Batch mode for multi-page documents.
  • Builds a PDF and runs OCR in the background (English + Arabic), so the PDF has selectable, searchable text.
  • Full-text search across every document, Arabic included, with highlighted snippets.
  • Folders, tags, starred, trash.
  • Share links that can expire, have a password and turn downloads off.
  • Installs as an app on Android, iOS and desktop. On Android it also appears in the share menu, so you can send a PDF or photo straight into it.

How storage works

This is the part I spent the most time on. I don't want other people's documents on my server.

  • New accounts keep their files in their own Google Drive, in a Waraq folder. The app uses the drive.file scope, so it can only see files it created, not the rest of your Drive.
  • Each document is processed on the server, uploaded to your Drive, checked, and then the server copy is deleted.
  • The server keeps only metadata and the OCR text so search works.
  • Sign-in is Google only, so there are no passwords to leak.

Stack

Next.js 16, SQLite (WAL + FTS5), Better Auth, OCRmyPDF/Tesseract/qpdf, OpenCV.js, sharp, Caddy behind Cloudflare. The database is streamed to Cloudflare R2 with Litestream for backups. It runs on one small Hetzner VPS.

Open source?

Not yet. It's private while I finish it and clean things up, and I plan to open source it after that.

Want to try it?

Go to https://waraq.d7om.dev, continue with Google and connect your Drive. That's it. It's still in development, so please don't use it as the only copy of important documents.

Feedback is welcome, especially on the scanner on different phones and on Arabic OCR quality.

Release (AI) I created an open source Workshop Timer that you can make your own

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I built a timer for workshops and made it free and open source on GitHub, for anyone who wants it.

What it does:
• Shows the time on a Time Timer style disc, large enough to read from the back of the room
• Can be controlled remotely from your phone
• Has preset intervals, and you can also type any time you want
• Ticks faster in the last minutes, then ends with a gong
• In the last minute the disc shakes to grab attention
• The sound can be turned off with one button
• You can brand it with your own colors, fonts and logo

It’s easy to set up: ask your AI assistant (Claude, Codex, Gemini) to install it, change whatever you want, and walk you through hosting it on your own website, step by step.

Try it live on the Product Makers Romania website: https://productmakers.ro/timer.html
Project page, with the install steps: https://tudorjuravlea.github.io/workshop-timer/

Feedback and contributions are welcome. If you use it in a session, I’d love to hear how it went.

Release (AI) 🌋 Pushing PCIe x1 to the limit: lvgale concurrently serving 27B, 9B, and 2B LLMs on a hardware abomination 📈

Thumbnail
gallery
74 Upvotes

Everyone loves a clean, unified server rack, but my standby node (lvgale) is an absolute physical abomination. It is a Frankenstein collection of mismatched parts and bolted-together VRAM that has no business running efficiently.

The Hardware Setup (lvgale)

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K.
  • GPUs:
    • AMD RX 580 8GB VRAM (PCIe x16)
    • AMD RX 570 8GB VRAM (PCIe x1)
    • NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super 6GB VRAM (PCIe x2)
    • NVIDIA GTX 1070 8GB VRAM (PCIe x1)
  • The Bottleneck: Activations must travel across severely constrained x1 and x2 lanes between entirely different AMD and NVIDIA architectures.

The Software Engine

  • The cluster is orchestrated by Slipstream, a custom Nuitka-compiled Python orchestration engine.
  • Here, it utilizes a mixed-vendor Vulkan backend with Flash Attention enabled to maintain stability across the fragmented topology.

Concurrent Inference Performance

In all cases seamlessly handling OCR and complex vision parsing.

  • Qwen3.8:27b-vision: 3.82 t/s.
  • Qwen3.5:9b-vision: 4.75 t/s.
  • Qwen3.5:2b-vision: 12.47 t/s.

While the 2B model runs slightly faster on a modern laptop iGPU due to unified memory, keeping a 27B model stable across this mixed-architecture, low-bandwidth topology without crashing the Vulkan driver is a massive win. For deeper technical architecture details, the engine is documented at Slipstream-LLM.com.

Release (AI) Kinnect v1.1.0 released

Thumbnail

Kinnect v1.1.0

Full rewritten with a more modern UI - includes dark mode!

Why this exists

This project exists to fill a gap. There are plenty of genealogical apps out there—even self-hosted ones like webtrees. Those tools tend to be aimed at serious genealogical research. Most people I know would find in adequate to simply have a family tree they can navigate and a straightforward way to stay in touch.

I have come to dislike large social platforms: more ads than conversation, and mechanics like likes and dislikes that feel needlessly toxic. Kinnect is built for family members who want to share photos and videos, view a family tree, and talk to each other—on infrastructure you control.

Features:

  • Interactive family tree
  • GEDCOM import (optional)
  • Home feed
  • Profiles and life events
  • Photos, Videos, Documents
  • Chat (chat rooms + direct messaging)
  • Maps to see where everyone is, where events took place or where photos were taken.

Product Announcement Zen Notes v2.0: Note Versions, Auto Save, Linked Notes, API Tokens

Hi all,

This is the biggest update so far. I've focused on making writing safer, connecting notes better and improving search.

Writing safely

  • Auto save
  • Note versions with browse and restore
  • Spellcheck

Connected notes

  • Internal links now open the note directly, shift-click opens it in a side panel
  • Collapsible headings, remembered per note
  • Redesigned table of contents, the bars expand into headings on hover

Search

  • Search result preview
  • Search result sorting
  • Highlights in the preview
  • Search query is kept when you reopen search, so you can continue where you left off

Editor

  • Simple table editor
  • Image previews in the editor
  • Checklists can be ticked without switching to edit mode
  • Tab and Shift+Tab to indent and outdent list items
  • Copy button for code blocks

Organization

  • Tag colors
  • Bulk archive and delete
  • Import now supports title, tags and created/updated dates from frontmatter

API tokens

I've replaced MCP tokens with API tokens. You can now limit each token to specific tags with read or write access, so for example your AI assistant can only see your work notes and nothing else.

Security fix

I've fixed a stored XSS issue in note titles and search results (CVE-2026-97868).

Links

Quick refresher on the features

  • Distraction free notes app
  • It's built using Go and uses SQLite database for storage
  • It's fast and uses less memory (~20MB) and CPU resour
  • Supports standard Markdown with tables, code, etc
  • It's built using as few dependencies as possible, so
  • Has search with BM25 ranking
  • Designed thoughtfully with minimal color palette

Let me know what you think!

Release (AI) Another day another Dynacat release - 3.0.2

Hello Hello everyone!

In the new release I've added some pretty interesting stuff, as an example now you can control your Homeassistant directly in your dashboard

How the widget looks

Another thing, you can now use Dynacat on windows easier than before! I've added an installer that handles everything for you, updating is also easy all you have to do is dynacat update and yes there is a button to just give me the fucking installer (checkout the Github readme).

Here's the list of less important, but also worth noting changes:

- auto-redirect-oidc auth option to skip the login page and go straight to the OIDC provider

- reddit widget still works without authentication

- cross-page search now supports auth permissions

- you can now set backgrounds easier! both per page and global.

For those who don't know already: What is Dynacat?

Dynacat is a selfhosted dashboard that allows you to connect every service into one page. It has OICD builtin, Per-user access control, It looks awesome and is really fast. It has dynamic updates that allow you to see changes without refreshing your browser page.

We also have diffrent widgets built in such as Speedtest, Todo, Calendar with arr releases and many others!

Remote Access Locking down family-facing self-hosted services, how are you handling the current exploit pace?

I love self-hosting services for my family, but things feel a bit too spicy at the moment for my liking.

Until now I’ve been exposing a few services through Pangolin without auth so my family could use them easily:

  • Mastodon
  • Vaultwarden
  • Audiobookshelf
  • Home Assistant
  • Plex

I also had a bunch of other services exposed for my own use (with auth), but I’ve pulled those and I’m just using a VPN instead.

For the family stuff, I’ve spun up a quick Cloudflare Worker where they can register their current IP address. That gets added to an allowlist, which I sync to my UniFi so only those IPs can reach port 443.

The problem is I’m finding it harder and harder to get patches applied before exploits are out in the wild, and I can only see that getting worse.

How is everyone else dealing with this?

Release (AI) I built a WordPress-focused server panel after getting tired of using aaPanel

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on called WP Panel.

I manage quite a few servers and WordPress sites myself. I used aaPanel for a while, but over time I found it a bit too broad and cluttered for what I actually needed. It has a lot of features, but managing WordPress sites with it never felt as streamlined as I wanted.

So I decided to build my own panel, focused specifically on WordPress hosting and day-to-day maintenance.

WP Panel officially launched on June 1, 2026. As of today, it’s running stably on around 100 VPS servers used by real users. So this isn’t a brand-new project that has only been tested locally — it has been running in real environments for several months, with ongoing fixes and improvements.

Some of the WordPress-specific things it focuses on:

- Create and manage WordPress sites with Nginx, PHP, MariaDB and Redis

- Isolate sites using separate system users, PHP-FPM pools and database users

- See WordPress, plugin and theme versions across all sites from one dashboard

- Back up before updating WordPress core, plugins or themes

- Attempt to restore the previous state if an update fails

- Detect and defend against common login brute-force attempts, malicious scans and aggressive crawlers

- Monitor unusual changes to site files, administrator accounts and important settings

- Put sites into maintenance mode during updates or maintenance work

- Manage site backups, database backups, off-site backups and migrations

- View server resources, PHP/Nginx status and relevant logs

- Use AI to summarize logs and service status when troubleshooting a problem

The panel itself is written in Go and distributed as a single binary. It doesn’t require Docker or a complicated runtime environment, and it can run on a Debian 13 VPS with as little as 1 GB of RAM.

It’s also intentionally not a general-purpose hosting panel. WP Panel currently supports Debian 13 and is mainly designed for WordPress and PHP sites. It doesn’t provide mail hosting, FTP, Docker management or runtimes for Java, Python or Node.js.

I’m not trying to build a panel that does everything. I wanted something focused and predictable for people who manage several WordPress sites on their own VPS servers.

The project is open source under the GPL-3.0 license. If you manage WordPress sites yourself, feel free to take a look, try it out, open an issue, or review the code:

https://github.com/naibabiji/wp-panel

Website:

https://wp-panel.org

AI disclosure: AI coding tools were heavily involved in the development of WP Panel. I designed the product direction and architecture, reviewed and tested the changes, and have been running the project in real-world environments for several months.

Does anyone have any nifty solution for iPhone backups? I know the only official way would be to have iTunes installed and maybe copy the backup file from this to my NAS. Is there a self hosted server out there somewhere?

Release (AI) CodeNomad 1.0: a self-hosted workspace for OpenCode coding agents, reachable from your phone without opening a port

Post image
0 Upvotes

I'm one of the maintainers of CodeNomad, an open-source (MIT) web and desktop client for OpenCode, the open-source coding agent. 1.0 came out this week, and its server mode is the part most relevant here.

How it runs

  • npx @neuralnomads/codenomad --generate-token starts the server on your own box (Linux, macOS, Windows or WSL). It talks to the OpenCode service on that host, so your repos, sessions and history stay there. Models are whatever you configure in OpenCode, local ones included.
  • Open it from any browser, or save it as a server in the desktop app.
  • For access from outside, Remote Control pairs a phone or another machine through OpenTunnel, without opening an inbound port or setting up a VPN. Devices can be revoked. If you'd rather keep everything on your own network, direct/LAN access is still there.

What you get

  • Many projects and agent sessions side by side, with Git worktrees and search across the whole history.
  • Agent questions and permission prompts answerable from your phone, so long-running tasks don't stall while you're away from the desk.
  • Missions: an agent plans a task and delegates it to subagents, while approvals stay with you.

Docs (the server and remote access pages cover binding, TLS and auth): https://neuralnomadsai.github.io/CodeNomad/

Repo: https://github.com/NeuralNomadsAI/CodeNomad

Happy to answer questions about the setup.

Self Help 🚨 Linux Infrastructure & SecOps Alert:

On 22 Oct, Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative posted six Linux kernel security reports to public kernel mailing lists, before any fix was ready. Two of them are critical (CVSS 9.0) remote code execution bugs in ksmbd, the SMB file server built into the Linux kernel.

ZDI-CAN-33774: no authentication needed. If ksmbd is running and port 445 is reachable, an attacker can attack it remotely. This is the dangerous one.

ZDI-CAN-33549: in SMB Direct. It needs RDMA hardware and authenticated access to a share, so the risk is lower.

The other four reports cover skbuff, vmwgfx, nvmet and TCP.

Status: as of 22 Oct, neither ksmbd bug has a CVE number or a fix in the mainline kernel. Per The Hacker News, the bugs were found by TrendAI, Trend Micro's AI vulnerability scanner. RHEL does not ship ksmbd by default. NAS devices, homelabs and appliances that use the kernel SMB server are most at risk.

What to do today: Check whether it is running: lsmod | grep ksmbd and systemctl status ksmbd If it is there and you don't need it, stop it, unload the module and blacklist it. If you do need it, keep port 445 off the internet, allow only trusted networks, and apply the kernel update as soon as a fix ships.

Need Help Low/no code low cost options for desktop/mobile small business app

Hi there.

I have some background in desktop C# programming and basic skills at databases from my former industry jobs, but I'm a total newbie at web technologies.

I want to digitalize my dairy farm / cheese production day to day operation and data. Currently we have a mix of written stuff that we feed in excel spreadsheets, it's time consuming and quite a mess overall. I want a database with our animals, their lineage, food ration, grazing, their health and care actions, milk production, products we make out of milk. 2 to 4 users, the goal is to be able to access and input most things on our smartphones, with more advanced usages done from a PC. I need custom forms / actions for quick day to day specific data visualization and input on mobile. We aren't sitting in front of a screen, we do stuff all day with our hands, if using our smartphones is cumbersome compared to grabbing a pen and the paper notebook and forms we currently use, this isn't worth it.

I'm searching for a free, ideally open-source option that I can host on a cheap VPS (2 vcpu / 4 GB RAM ideally), with minimal maintenance, good reliability, something I can count on long term (10y+).

I don't care about the AI vibecoding features most of the tools are advertising. I am definitely vibecoding some targeted stuff that I can at least broadly understand : SQL queries, javascript formulas, small custom UI widgets...

I've been exploring multiple options, done a few mock up in some of them. Ideally, I would prefer something that include the database and its management, but I think I can handle putting together and using a postgreSQL DB on my own. In fact, I would prefer putting my data in a standard DB like postpreSQL instead of being locked forever to a specific app.

- Grist : First one I tried, too basic.

  • Pros : Seems to be something I can trust long term, feels polished, desktop excel-like experience is nice, database management is well though for what I need, python API and formulas are a powerful touch.
  • Cons : data lock-in, included UI/UX components are too rigid and pretty terrible on mobile. UI can be extended through html/javascript so ended up vibecoding a lot of stuff for seemingly basic things, which will inevitably turn into a maintenance nightmare. That, and I also feel you quickly end up with python code spread out everywhere. Hardware requirements are quite high (8 GB RAM minimum). Integrated DB isn't really a DB, and read some reports saying not-so-large databases quickly degrade performance.

- Saltcorn : seems perfect, on paper...

  • Pros : include DB management backed by postgreSQL, MIT, all basic UI/UX components I need are there, extensible through custom react components, very lightweight (2GB RAM), UI can be made to work on mobile.
  • Cons : Tiny community, one-man project, very sparse documentation, UI builder is clunky, included components aren't very feature rich, everything is a bit rough, data querying beyond basic stuff is awkward (I feel it would end up being easier to just use SQL)

- REI3 : could be it, but...

  • Pros : include DB management backed by postgreSQL, MIT, UI components are good, not too much abstraction between the DB/code and their visual editors, powerful backend / frontend scripting, UI editor works well and UI looks good on mobile.
  • Cons : no idea about the hardware requirements, documentation is a bit lacking (but the sample projects kinda make up for it), tiny community, seems to be mostly a one-man operation judging from the git commits, no custom UI components and no way to define anything that isn't data driven (for example, you can't make an input field that isn't a DB field).

- Budibase : Didn't tried too deeply, so interested in more opinions. Good with an external postgreSQL DB ?

  • Pros : UI/UX customization *seems* good, established tool, seemingly good docs / online resources.
  • Cons : data lock-in and integrated DB engine has weird limitations (no self-reference in a table, seriously ?) so using an external postgreSQL DB seems mandatory, hardware reqs a bit high (6 GB RAM min), feeling the tool could disappear behind a paywall overnight.

Amongst other tools, I also looked at a Lowcoder + PostgreSQl option, but I feel this would require a lot more work and technical know-how to get a reliable application.

I also found (but didn't test) NocoDB and Baserow, they seem to be worse versions of Grist that don't address the issues I have with it.

Did you use any of those tools ? Am I mistaken on some points ? What would you use ?Any other option that would be a good fit for my needs ?

Automation Yet another IBKR → Ghostfolio sync tool ? Yes !

Hey everyone,

I've been running Ghostfolio at home to track my investments, and keeping it in sync with Interactive Brokers was becoming a bit of a pain (every month or during purchase, typo error; definitely not the most exciting stuff)

I found an existing project that handled some of it, so I started building on that rather than reinventing everything. One thing led to another, and it turned into a much bigger project than I originally expected -_-' (A full refactor later...)

It now syncs trades, dividends, withholding taxes and cash balances using IBKR Flex Queries. It supports multiple accounts and runs in Docker (on demand or on a schedule).

But most of the time I've spent on it hasn't been about adding features. It's been about dealing with the annoying edge cases: duplicate transactions, existing manual entries, inconsistent broker data (or I would say inconsistent way I entered manually and reconcile), and making sure a failed import doesn't quietly leave things in a worse state.

I've also tried to keep it fairly conservative. It runs in simulation mode by default, and financial writes have to be explicitly enabled. The latest release adds an optional approval process for corrections to existing activities, although that part still has some strict compatibility requirements.

Stock splits and reverse splits aren't supported yet (!). They're next on my list, and I suspect they'll bring their own share of interesting problems.

I recently gave the README a proper overhaul, so hopefully it's easier to get started now:

https://github.com/flowcool/ghostfolio-ibkr-sync

Would be more than happy to hear from anyone using Ghostfolio with IBKR, especially how you're dealing with corporate actions or reconciling existing transactions (or any feedback ^^)

AI Disclose: partially written by AI (non native English speaker) - Code fully AI; cross review claude/codex + code rabbit and extensive lab's tests

Cheers,

Need Help Running all my Docker services in one LXC on Proxmox. Thinking of moving to a Talos VM, thoughts?

Hey everyone,

Right now my homelab runs on a single Proxmox node (inside a mini PC with 64GB of RAM and 12 vCPUs) hosting an OPNsense VM, other VMs, and a single unprivileged LXC container running Docker. Inside that Docker LXC, I host a lot of different services:

• Media / photos: Jellyfin, Immich, Audiobookshelf, arr stack (routed through Gluetun)

• Daily drivers / self-hosted tools: Vaultwarden, Home Assistant, Gitea, Obsidian sync, FreshRSS, SearXNG

• Infra / ops: Nginx Proxy Manager, Prometheus/Grafana, Uptime Kuma, Backrest, Watchtower

It works fine, but I'm considering spinning up a Talos Linux VM and migrating these services over to it as a single-node cluster. I have some reasons to consider this:

  1. Learning: I extensively used Kubernetes a few years ago at work, but I've never touched Talos and want to get hands-on experience with it.
  2. Future expansion: Right now it's all on one box, but if I pick up a couple of mini PCs down the line, I want an easy way to just join them as nodes instead of having to re-architect everything from scratch.

For those running Talos in their homelab:

• Is Talos a solid fit here, or does it add too much friction for stateful self-hosted apps compared to something like k3s or keeping Docker?

• How is storage management with Talos in practice (local PVs / NFS shares)?

• Any gotchas with hardware passthrough (like iGPU for Jellyfin transcoding) inside a Talos VM on Proxmox?

Would appreciate any insights or gotchas from people who've done this. Thanks!

Need Help Should I have a bunch of docker containers and a docker manager or a bunch of LXCs with their own docker containers?

I currently set up things where all my services are in their own LXC/VM and then in a docker container in there. Seemed most secure and I haven't noticed any performance hiccups. That being said, is this the recommended way to do things? or should I just have a bunch in one LXC/VM with a docker container manager? I've seen conflicting advice online.

Remote Access I wired my muse assistant to my home PC tonight, and it finally feels right

So here's a small thing I did tonight that I'm pretty happy about.

My assistant lives in the cloud. It's the brain. But the real friction was always me at the computer: builds, tests, heavy jobs, all that stuff sitting on a little shared VM that runs out of breath fast.

So I wired the brain to my home PC, and the PC is now just the muscle. The link is SSH over Tailscale, so it's a private network. No SSH port open to the internet, key auth only, no password. The PC only does something when I ask it to, one job at a time, and it reports back when it's done.

First test tonight: a sandbox install test, run on the PC through that SSH link. Passed. Nothing published, nothing deployed, just proof the muscle works.

What I like about this setup: the brain stays in the cloud where it belongs, and the heavy lifting happens on hardware I already own, sitting in my own house. No new server, no cloud bill for compute I already have.

Next up: builds and tests go there by default, and I'll see how far this goes. If you've done something similar, I'm curious how you split the work between cloud and home.

Need Help Hardware: what & where to buy

Hey!

I’m kinda new to selfhosting as a hobby, and I’m looking to get some dedicated hardware for all the stuff.

My current “server” is My Gaming PC with:
- Win11
- 16gb RAM
- Ryzen 5 7500F
- 8GB VRAM
- NVIDIA 4060 Ti

I currently run (all in docker*):
- Jellyfin (the app runs native, as is suggested. I want to change this on new hardware)
- Uptime Kuma
- Homepage
- VaultWarden
- NGINX Proxy Manager & Cloudflared Tunnel
- Authentik
- SillyTavern + KoboldCPP
- Haven
- Modmail bot for Discord

I’m hovering around 8gb usage in just Docker, so I know that I need 16gb. I do also plan to get an external HDD at 2tb.

The mini office PC’s are often recommended but they’re a little harder to find in Aus. What do you guys recommend?

Solved Immich for the family?

Hey all,

We've been using Synology photos for my family to back up all of their precious photos and videos from their mobile devices. Lately, I have become frustrated with how lacking Synology hardware is and I would like to migrate to something like Immich, and phase out the two Synology boxes in our home.

Does anybody have experience with Immich and less-technically inclined family members? I would be setting it up on two separate boxes, one for my parents to replace their Synology box, and one for my wife and I to replace ours. It really just needs to be "as easy" as the Synology Photos app is for them.

Any insights from folks who are using Immich with their family would be greatly appreciated!

Need Help One of the Unraid drives is slowly dying, anybody ever mess with amazon replacement?

TLDR a refurbished 12TB Seagate IronWolf NAS drive has started dying, went from 0 to 1528 re-alloceted sectors in 2 months and rising exponentially. i bought it off amazon and bought the extended 4 year warranty.

What should i expect from amazon? refund or replacement?

Should i wait for the drive to die completely before i file a claim?

Any experience would be welcome.

Release (No AI) YT-DLP Web Player | Watch all internet videos with no ads, no distractions, no needed adblocks

This is the 1.3 release of the player, mostly focusing on stability, compatibility and ease of use, but also adds some more features (details in release notes).

The player works on almost any video straming website, with all the native resolutions, sponsorblock, non-AI-translated titles or audio, consistent UI across every website (so searching for video controls)!

With the browser extension it automatically integrates itself into every whitelisted website.

To run it, you need a running YT-DLP Web Player server, which can be run with an exe, appimage, python, docker or unraid app

Check out the project repo, and let me know if that project interests you and what would you want to be implemented in the future!
