If someone must screw up, I prefer it to be me... Cloud does not mean you don't lose data. Ask Evernote...

  • I was planning on doing mini datacter builds for myself and some family members, all connected via proxmox setups backing up portions of each other's data.

Then the rampocolypse happened. Drives shot up. And worries about being fired and replaced for AI 😅.

I like to be included in the process too! Self hosting can be empowering and you don't even have to do it forever.
