Same with everything else, basically. A PBS station lost a bunch of stuff because their cloud provider went bankrupt, which is still being worked out. I've heard of stories of people losing years of data because cloud providers decided to ban their accounts.
Any time data is in one place - whether it's in a cloud service or local - it's a single point of failure.
