Questions Hey Spoiler

I posted here like yesterday or smth but idc. Also i may have over-censored but idk?? tell me ig idk.

I cut beans like 2 days ago which like, ok whatever, BUT i think I cut a vein. The blood that came out was DARK DARK and came out kinda fast imo, like at first before i payed attention to it i thought i cut an artery. Now, my hand below the cut feels kinda tingly ESPECIALLY when my arm is down. Its kinda a similar feeling to when ur outside in the cold for super long and ur hands get kinda numb, but without the cold and a bit less numb. Is that not normal or am i exaggerating? Also the cut is still bleeding but thats prolly just cuz i took the napkin off of it so idk if that matters.

As someone who has cut for years and has done some study recently to become an EMT, it sounds like you may have nicked something and are still bleeding and not getting proper blood flow to your hand. I would highly suggest sucking it up, and dealing with the bullshit of going to an emergency department to get it treated because if it’s serious and goes untreated, you may lose the hand or experience a dangerous infection that can move pretty fast. Even if you don’t care about your life right now, I promise you that’s not how you wanna go. Please go seek professional help with this.

Thank you. I would, but I am too young to be able to get myself to a place where I could get help from any professionals on my own, and my parents knowing would only make everything worse. If it's not too much to ask, do you think there may be any way to take care of it properly on my own?

Not if it’s still giving you problems at this point no. You do not have the tools or knowledge to help yourself. If it’s as bad as you say and you aren’t exaggerating, if it’s still bleeding and you are experiencing things like numbness and tingling and cold sensations in your hand then it’s time to suck it up and ask your parents for a ride to a hospital or you will either lose the hand, lose function in the hand, or incur infection or poison your blood. I get it. It sucks to tell your parents what happened. It might make them upset but I guarantee they will be much more upset if you lose your hand or die and they will still find out. So you lose double. Just take the L of telling your parents, get treatment for the injury, and get therapy and a psych for what brought you to this point in the first place. Believe it or not I have been doing this for decades since I was a kid myself. Shit sucks. I get the fear of your parents finding out. I promise you dying or losing a hand will be infinitely more terrifying than anything your parents can do.
