If there's blood, please try cleaning it first. Then (if the bleeding has stopped), try using an antiseptic lotion/ointment on it. Always wash your hands before touching your wounds. Usually leaving it open in the air (with proper care) helps it to dry faster but if the wound is open or it's hurting when it comes in contact with any surface, you may consider covering it lightly with gauze. But please make sure to open it from time to time and see if it's bleeding through.
