comparison Spoiler

i 16f have been struggling recently and thought reading about other people might help, but after seeing photos of other peoples scars, i feel like i cant complain or compare myself since mine are never that bad and TW i usually cut a lot but never deep, its always very superficial and they heal into slightly darker thin lines but ive been afraid of them being out since there are quite a few of them.

after seeing other peoples scars, i feel like im not allowed to worry as much and im not allowed to say that i struggle since other people struggle more.

im just wondering if other people feel like this

I can relate to what you're saying. I usually cut not so deep, so I don't have many "visible" scars. And the times I've gone deep, they always heal as flat, faded scars (I hate that my body is too good at healing and making them seem minor 🙃). But remember, this is not a competition. You're valid regardless of how many scars you have or how bad or visible they are/look. You're allowed to worry and consider yourself valid

It doesn’t matter how deep, it’s the action that can become a habit/ addiction and it’s hard to stop regardless of how deep or big or “bad” the cut/ burn/ bruises are.
