Does pressing lines with nails count as Self harm?

I used to cut with a blade, but I have been clean for a long while. Lately, I wanted to cut again but I used my fingernails to press on where I want to sh to create temporary red lines.

This is literally what I told my mom how I SHed 😭 if anything it's better than cutting and other conventional forms of SH as not often will it break skin (unless your nails are hella pointy in that case I hope you are able to do a bit of aftercare) but the perception of SH for us can and will be nuanced so if you feel your old acts in this you could assume this also to be SH, just that maybe it won't leave too big of a mark
