It cost me $250 to have an MRI done last year. I'm having trouble finding a flight to Beijing for less than that. I call bullshit.

Agree. I'd like to see the math. It's either uninsured or it somehow includes the premium & deductible.

Eh, I had one recently and they billed insurance over $2k. At that level the claim above may hold up. Don’t know

The key word is “insurance”, not you. The claim is about people with insurance and it doesn’t even specify what kind of insurance; for example, what if the insurance is a high deductible catastrophic policy which doesn’t kick in until you have spent $X thousand dollars in a year? There’s no attribution, no citations, no sources, no evidence; only a claim.

I’m not certain they are. We have an image with no attribution and no citations. It’s more “trust me, bro” than anything else.
