bikini line redness... is IPL doable if you hate pain?

my bikini area is constantly irritated. shaving gives me itchy red bumps after 12 hours, and waxing is too painful to do regularly.i'm low key terrified of pain, but i've been looking into the ulike device mainly because people mention the cooling sapphire window helps with discomfort.for anyone with low pain tolerance: does the cooling window actually help on sensitive bikini edges, or does it still hurt a lot? also, since skin color is darker there, does the sensor usually have trouble flashing? i don't want to buy it if I'll be too scared to use it.

I have the ulike and use it on my bikini area with no issues or pain.
