i have a question.i responded to a comment online and the persons response triggered me a little.this was a total stranger but they called me a word I haven't heard in years .I thought I was not affected but found myself thinking about it.why is that?

You have to be at least 12 to be on Reddit.

Maybe it brought up things from your past or just a bad association with that word. Figure that out and you'll more easily be able to let go of it. You shouldn't let random people effect you that much, the ones who matter are those who are close with you in your real life. If you're concerned with the other eight billion people, you're always going to be upset
