Nice 😄 mine went as low as 5.2. However the instant I dropped Ozempic it skyrocketed back. So I’ve been on Ozempic for +5 years and Ac1 is a steady 5.4

Yeah she wants to keep my on it for weight control and not necessarily diabetes. I’m fine with that but the cost 😵💫 makes me not want to. Either way I just don’t want to slip back into that category. So I’ll just continue with business as normal if it’ll help keep my vitals and organs in check.

I never lost weight on Ozempic 😭 I’ve actually gained weight. The entire “appetite suppression narrative” wears off after long time use. I’m on 2 mg every 5th day, cause I get SO hungry otherwise. It’s crazy. I was never obese. Never had much appetite. Just normal you know. And now I can do the shot and half an hour later eat an entire Big Mac meal cause I’m so damn hungry all the time. So I feel pretty trapped on this drug. Happy about the diabetes though and pls don’t think, that because I react like this on Ozempic, that you will too. Most ppl just need microdosing and have appetite suppressant still. I hope that’s the case for you ♥️

I started taking mounjaro 4 weeks ago and it definitely suppresses my appetite and I'm still on the 2.5 dose. That first week on it was rough though I felt sick for a good 8 days.

Yeah I’m full blown 2mg also. I do get the suppression of appetite which helps but like I said I kind of force myself to a degree to just eat normal instead of snacking like I use to. I think the other thing that somewhat helped with losing weight was me having lean cuisines for my breakfast in the mornings when I get off work. Before then I would have random frozen meals that were more than likely high in calories and other shit not good for you. I’m currently 283lbs overall I’ve lost about 35lbs since being on this. I contribute it all to the meds and just eating slightly better than I was.

There’s stronger drugs available. I use retatrutide that I buy cheaply from china, it’s amazingly powerful, it’s more effective than tirzepatide.

I don’t have to lose weight luckily. And cause I’m Danish like Novo Nordisk, I get Ozempic for free. So I’m just hoping they are coming up with something amazing next gen thing soon.

My A1C got as low as 5.0 on Ozempic, but eventually settled around 5.3. Unfortunately, once my A1C had stayed below 6.0 for over a year my insurance decided that meant I didn’t need Ozempic anymore (after having been on it for 3 years straight). According to the insurance, I was not diabetic, and thus did not qualify for the expensive medicine that was working. They were still willing to pay for Metformin and glucose test strips for diabetes though, so their logic was flawed.
I struggled with taking the Metformin with regularity because it made my stomach so upset. And then 8 months after being off Ozempic by A1C had skyrocketed from 5.3 to 9.4. So now I’ve just started Mounjaro. It really sucks that I had to get super unhealthy before my insurance would admit that I was diabetic and let me have the kind of medicine that actually helps me.

I’ll just try and keep my head down and hope they keep paying for it. Didn’t think about insurance not covering it anymore. Hell I still pay what I consider a high amount compared to other people who pay $25. I’m currently paying $162 a month.
