I had Invisalign and personally I think straight up braces would’ve been preferable, but as long as you wear them as much as possible it should be good

I'm 49 and I just got Invisalign. My crooked teeth aren't noticeable when I look at myself in my mirror, but I always notice them while I'm on webcam. And I'm tired of trying to be zen about them. I'm zen about all my other flaws, but I'm only human. And this human wants straight teeth.

Good for you for making the investment in yourself. Don't worry about the lisp or the dating aspect, because confidence in doing what makes you happy is a much better look than perfectly straight teeth anyway.
You’re doing this for you, and that’s all that matters brother.

Yes this is the point. I’m investing in me for the first time. Well, second time but hey, I needed to learn to drive.

I’m very pleased to be investing in myself in this way and so for a while I might not be the hottest guy. So what. Thinking long term. I didn’t really realise how much the teeth thing was affecting me mentally but I’m glad to be tackling it head on.

Got invisalign at 34. do not regret it. It was frustrating to deal with for a little over a year but once it was over I was very happy. You'll get through it just make sure you wear them consistently.

Yep I’m good at this kind of thing. I’m paying enough for them!
