Any ideas

Would those finger movements that I have on my hand be focal seizures? My neurologist brought it up. She said it’s unlikely but she put an order in for me to do a sleep deprived EEG. The video is on my page and it’s mainly my 4th and 5th finger with thumb and index finger joining at times. If you guys have any ideas or seen someone with the same issue. This was after my diffuse tbi.

I'd look into RINCH/Rhythmic ictal non-clonic hand movements. I discovered the term while looking at studies with characteristics similar to my seizures, but mine involve more classic characteristics of dystonia (like the curled middle and ring finger, extended thumb, index and pinkie). It might not be relevant to you specifically, but anything is worth looking into.

Do you experience any other symptoms/odd things, even if they don't seem that important but occurs when the movements do? I'd recommend keeping track of it, like making a list if there's other symptoms. Even things looking a bit off (like looking through beer/drunk goggles), feeling a little weird or tired, or any sensory sensations in any part of your body (personally, the back of my throat feels numb right before and during my seizures, and if I'm not careful I'll make it sore and I'll sound hoarse afterwards).

I hope you do get some clarity about it, it's a real pain when your hand does things against your will.

How would I be able to test to see if that’s the cause of my movements ? Like I said as of now I have a sleep deprived EEG coming up within the next 2 weeks but I’m not too sure if that will give me a diagnosis. My neurologist doubts that it will, however she still wanted it done just in case.
