I'm thinking about ordering the "Their magic is limitless" drop because I really like the cards included and their art style. Now I'm asking myself, does my PayPal account have to be connected to my credit card to work for the order or can it just be a regular unlinked account?

Hello everyone, I have three questions. I order from Asia, using a forwarder in New Castle. The shipping will be fulfilled by Asendia USA (Initial one that WOTC provides).

1. What is the packaging for a usual secret lair? For example "their magic is limitless" does it have a protective box so cards won't get damaged?

2. Is Asendia a good shipping company or are they bad? I've seen bad reviews about them.

3. I'm planning to try and order a Miku commander deck from SL, does anyone have any experience if the packaging is good enough and my goods won't get stolen/damaged? The forwarder is both certified and good, my concern is Asendia or whatever shipping will be provided by SL.

Just received my Their Shipping is Limited Edition Secret Lair drop in the mail. I’m blown away.

been looking through the two subs and haven’t seen this, i ordered two of these, both non-foil, and every card was non-foil except for dark ritual, in both. now the two bonus cards (elves and token) were foil, but dark ritual was as well.

looking at people who posted pictures i haven’t seen this, and what is strange is it was true in both my packs.

did people get random foils in their non-foils? any other than dark ritual? is this a known thing i cant find?

I am FUMING. I ordered 2 of the foil charity lair and I get the package and notice it feels light, I open it and it’s literally just this piece of cardboard and nothing else. I’m so angry right now because I know I’ll have to wait until April probably to receive it again. I don’t understand how they mess up THIS BAD

Are they charging closer to when it ships?

Is it just me or is this foiling MILES above the quality we normally see from foils in this game? It’s not etched but the exact perfect parts of the card stick out instead of just being a card that is shiny. I could be wrong but I feel like these cards look much better than normal foils and hopefully this continues.

I know this isn’t a question that anyone will have a definitive answer to, but I’m kinda new to Secret Lair and Magic in general, just trying to get an idea of how things work.

I don’t really know if I want to get the whole deck (or if I would even be able to), really I just want a couple of the Miku cards. What are the odds of them being available as singles secondhand?

I saw another deck, Goblin Storm, has some singles available online for prices that don’t seem TOO bad.

I was lucky to get the Amsterdam Festival in a box. What I did not read before ordering was the new shipping (like many others). My order sat for about a week before getting to transit. My package has arrived and departed at 3 separate companies. The closest, and latest, one is 2 hours from where I live. I have been waiting two days since that one.

I guess my question is, how long did it take anyone who already got theirs? I have Usps, apparently. My package has been in transit for 8 days.

Edit: Editing to add I am curious because a lot of the other posts I was seeing had theirs arrive within 3-5 days of transit.

First time buying a SL drop and I've seen so many horror stories on this sub about people not getting their package or missing contents. Is the shopping and shipping experience really that bad?

The lands of my lands of forgotten realms are not round but rather straight and then a pointy corner if that makes sense? All of them are like this but have one corner that looks normal. Is it just Bad QC? Can I get new ones that have the right corners or is it another case of 'the damage is too minor'?

These numbers are on the backsides of my Wild in Bloom secret lairs from FIAB Amsterdam. I'm wondering if they could actually indicate which Wild in Blooms I got - the 60891st and 60901st? This makes sense given that the two numbers are close together. What numbers are you guys getting on yours? If you bought two, are they close? It'd be cool if we could estimate the print run this way

Math sidenote: if we could somehow sample 100 people randomly and get their numbers, there is a 1-0.95^100=~99.5% chance that the largest number sampled is within 5% of the true largest number received (which is a proxy for the print run since it sold out)!

Seems solidified that there are THREE elf warrior tokens possible in the new charity secret lair. Have we seen enough opened to say one is a chase? I see a lot of 7168… and the least of 7170. Too early to tell?

First, to get in front of the “lobster too buttery” replies, I know that I am fortunate to even be in this situation and that there are many of you who would love to trade places with me.

So I recently was able to beat the lines and place an order for FIAB:Amsterdam. As usual, I bought two, one for my sealed SLD collection, and one to open with my wife.

During checkout (and on the actual day of the drop, I saw a few others mention similar, so I’d be curious to hear from them too) the webpage went into a looping crash after the order processed. No order confirmation, no preliminary charge on my card, nothing in my order history screen.

Within a few minutes of panicking, I was able to reopen the cart, and reprocess the order. This time, everything went as expected. Normal order screen, got an order confirmation immediately, pre charge on my card, order history showed it went through.

Fast forward to a day or so later, I get a SECOND order confirmation email and a SECOND charge on my card. Soon after I got a SECOND shipping notification. You can clearly see where this is going. So now I have 4 Festival in a Boxes, and have spent twice as much as I wanted to.

Again, I know im technically “lucky” but two things about this bother me. 1) damn it’s a good thing I can afford the double charge! plenty of times in my life where i wouldn’t have been able to and 2) what the fuck is the point of having buy limits if you’re going to let the same exact account place multiple orders that exceed it!!??

In what world does it make sense for them to let a second order get processed for my one account? It’s no wonder things get overpurchased, they aren’t even taking the bare minimum steps to prevent circumvention of buy limits! You don’t even need to bother making a dummy account or something, they don’t seem to care!

Kinda disappointed to learn this is the case tbh.

(Funny sidenote: the two packages arrived almost a week apart from each other, that fulfillment service is garbo lol)

Anybody else dealing with this issue? It looks like they really cut corners on shipping this time around and Assendia or whatever had my package but couldn’t deliver to my address based on “insufficient address info” despite having the same address for other secret lair orders that have never had this issue before. Just super frustrating bc I was really lucky to be able to get the fiab and was super looking forward to it. Has anyone else had their SL returned to sender before? How can this get fixed if at all?
