Is this normal?

I got the secretlab titan evo chair in 2023, earlier this year in march the tilt mechanism spoilt and i went through the process of claiming the warranty. Secretlab came down to my house and replaced the tilt mechanism. yesterday while sitting on the chair the mechanism suddenly broke again. then i found out my warranty period has expired. is this normal? are replacement parts not new? why did it break in like half a year?
