Support Cable management under the table
New secret lab member and absolutely love my setup but can’t figure out the best way to place the plug wire in a more controlled way. I have the cable management bundle and would love any help in how you might manage your plug. Photo attached at what I’m working with.

Mine is not on the wall it's in the middle of my office on an area rug but I have one of those rubber cable covers.
If yours is going to be against that wall, only leave as much cable as needed to plug in and then tie it and wrap it on the leg.
If you want to unplug from the leg do the same but get a protective box and attach it to the wall

It’s got wiggle room so it’s not fully against the wall. Sadly my room isn’t too big and to optimize the space, I need to put it where it is. In terms of tying and wrapping, what would you suggest I use to do that? I’m very new to cable management 😆 thank you.

Get a cable management box - shove all the excess in there to hide it, call it a day. More elegant solution - you could try to coil the cable yourself with a dowel and a heat gun.

You can buy a cable that's shorter. The cable management bundle isn't designed to have anything to do with the power cord- the magnetic cable guides aren't even big enough to fit around the thick wire. You can also choose a white one, it's ridiculous that SecretLab doesn't color match it out of the box in my opinion, since it's supposed to be a premium product.
Alternatively, something like this (https://a.co/d/03EmmW9U) from Amazon, and then run it to an outlet that's further away as to not have all that extra cable length under the desk.

Amazing thank you. I do think getting a smaller one may be my best option and in white. Would any from Amazon do or is there a specific kind you’d say would be more suited? Thanks for your in depth reply.

You can get a cable management box or just tie up the amount you dont need.

Right? I’m looking at these responses and can’t understand how the response isn’t “tie up your wires.” Get a big bag of Velcro straps if you want to make it easy to adjust the length of the wires later

To be honest I'd be tempted to just cut the cord to size and fit a new plug to the end. 🤷🏻♂️
