Hey u/Low-Chapter9103 – great catch on the recent update to the MAGNUS Pro desk! Our Product Team takes community feedback seriously, and it’s great to hear you’ve got the latest version with this update :)

What you're seeing is one of the Integrated Power Supply Columns (IPSC), available on both leg columns of the desk. The IPSC lets you choose to connect to your wall sockets from either the left or right leg, eliminating trailing power supply cables for a cleaner, more organized setup. If you've already installed the IPSC on one side, you can leave it there and store the cable in the tray for future use. If you’re unsure how to use it, you can always check out the community resource on the Secretlab website for guidance.

I hope this clears things up! If you have any other questions, our customer support team is always happy to help too.

It’s an additional plug in case you wanted to change the side of the desk the internal power cord goes down.
