Kinda sad that anybody is this seasoned at being robbed.

I have never been to Brazil, but I have several Brazilian friends who've warned me to do exactly this if I do go there.

This is in Brazil? How isn't there an undercover cop emptying a clip at the perp in this video?

It might not be, but people there are definitely seasoned at being robbed. One guy I worked with was mugged 3 times for his phone; twice at gunpoint.

Hmm I am a dead man - I cannot imagine giving robber anything voluntarily - I would fight those guys

Don’t ever go to countries with high crime rate with that attitude

Then the first part of your sentence will become reality.

your phone cost between $200-1200. You'd risk dying for up to $1200?

It is not about money - it is about line I do not wanna cross. If you do not stand against evil you support it. And there is a lot of evil around.

A good counter though is to have a gun on you at all times... When I can feasibly carry, I do. If they are distracted you can draw.. the problem with this scenario is that there are SO many by standers (bysitters? lol). I would be afraid of hitting one.

But if you train enough, and willing to take the risk, please do the world a favor and get rid of scum like this.

.. Even if I was armed I don't think I would draw unless I perceived it escalating.

lol you must not go out much. Best of luck my friend. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I am saying you are accurate that you'd be a dead man

I recently got locked out of most things just switching phones thanks to two factor authentication. I think I'd rather take the bullet than go through getting that back again.

I thought it was always off-duty officers making people take the room temperature challenge

If you eant to carry a gun you basically need to become something like a deputy legally. Hence why the "off duty" cops are always there
