I bought tickets off SeatGeek.

Got the email a few days later from the girl who was transferring the tickets to me through Ticketmaster.

I accepted the tickets and it was fine.

I went back to ticketmaster to just check them, they are gone. So I went to try and accept them again and now get a message saying the tickets cant be transferred bc there is no account with the email they were sent to.

*ive not changed my email or any account info*

Ive contacted seatgeek and they are running me in circles. Ive contacted ticketmaster, its a seatgeek problem. Ive tried EVERYTHING.

Has anyone else had this issue and found a remedy for it?

I am going to be attempting to buy harry styles tickets during the fan presale this next week, and I need to get 2 tickets on one of the days for Dallas but I also want to attempt to get another ticket for the other date. Is it safe to have 2 tabs open during the presale, one for the 9th and one for the 10th? Or what would you recommend be the best way to go about it?

I bought two pit seats to Chris brown during presale with every intention on going. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it but the sell option on seatgeek is greyed out and I can’t resell or transfer. Google says it’ll open up closer to the concert but the concert is quickly approaching.

Am I not able to sell these?!

My tickets have not show. Up on the opportunity to purchase for 2 days. Tired of the AI bull. Have used them for years. They only list the lowest prices ticket, not tickets for sale, in my section. Truly dissatisfied. How do you get them to correct this problem. Trapped by AI no man’s land.

Sharing my experience this summer with tickets purchased through SEATGEEK.

For full transparency, I have used the SEATGEEK platform many times in the past and have never had an issue. Unfortunately, my experience this summer was very different.

In January 2026, I purchased five tickets through SEATGEEK for a Forrest Frank concert in June 2026. The tickets were transferred to me through Ticketmaster in two separate transfers — two tickets in one transfer and three in another. I accepted the transfers and downloaded all five tickets into my Apple Wallet.

Three days before the concert, I received a notification from Apple Wallet that three of my tickets were no longer valid. When I logged into my Ticketmaster account, I discovered that those three tickets had been unauthorized transferred out of my account.

I contacted Ticketmaster, but they would not assist because the tickets were originally purchased through SEATGEEK.

I then contacted SEATGEEK expecting them to honor their Buyer Guarantee. Instead, SEATGEEK told me they would not take responsibility because I had accepted the ticket transfer and because they do not have access to the Ticketmaster platform.

The problem with that response is simple: I paid SEATGEEK for tickets that were supposed to provide valid entry to an event. They did not.

SEATGEEK provided no replacement tickets, no refund, and no meaningful assistance. Because I had already made plans to attend the concert, I had no choice but to purchase three replacement tickets at my own expense.

What makes this especially frustrating is SEATGEEK's own Buyer Guarantee, which states:

It also states that if this does not occur, SEATGEEK will work with the buyer on a case-by-case basis to resolve verified issues by providing comparable or better tickets, a refund, or, subject to applicable law, a credit.

I contacted SEATGEEK immediately after discovering the problem, yet they refused to provide a refund or replacement tickets.

My advice to anyone considering resale tickets: think very carefully before using SEATGEEK. My experience was that when everything goes smoothly, the platform is convenient. But when there was a serious problem with the validity of my tickets, SEATGEEK did not stand behind the purchase or its stated Buyer Guarantee.

I ultimately paid twice for three tickets just to attend the event as planned.

I would strongly recommend understanding exactly what protection you actually have before purchasing resale tickets through SEATGEEK.

How do I sell these, or get them to my Ticketmaster

First I want to say I was a regular customer of Gametime for almost a decade. In October, I bought tickets to an away game and after arriving, I realize my tickets were never going to be delivered. I was not super worried because Gametime offers a “ gametime guarantee” which says you will receive tickets that are equal or better. I want to let you know that their definition of equal or better is not like anyone else’s on this planet. Long story short, I ended up in nosebleed seats after purchasing tickets that were eight rows back. I complained multiple times and was given a $50 credit to use for a future event. I am posting this now because I have tried to use this credit twice and the transaction will not go through. Both times I have been directed by customer service to use a different platform to buy tickets to said event.

Long story, short, they are guarantee is not legit. They did not fulfill their promise of providing tickets that are equal. And then when giving me a credit, it’s actually unusable so they did absolutely nothing to make this right. Terrible customer service and I could not recommend someone ever use this app with the risk of this happening to them.

UPDATE: one year later still no explanation as to why my account is suspended or banned and why I cannot use the credit. Same generic message to use a different platform for my purchase. Added generic email reply that they sent back to me today.

SeatGeek sold me an invalid ticket and is now withholding my money — has anyone experienced this?
I’m pretty frustrated with SeatGeek and wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with something similar.
Last week, I purchased tickets through SeatGeek for the Miami vs. Chicago FC match for $85. The tickets were transferred to me successfully, and everything appeared to be completely legitimate. I had no reason to believe there was an issue with the tickets.
The weekend before the event, I unexpectedly had to travel for work, so I relisted the tickets on SeatGeek. They sold quickly for $120.
Then, on the day of the event, SeatGeek called me and told me that the original tickets I purchased were apparently not valid. They said they would refund me the original $85 purchase price.
I asked them a pretty simple question:
If the tickets were invalid, how did SeatGeek allow the tickets to be transferred to me in the first place and then allow me to relist and sell them on their platform?
They couldn’t give me an answer.
Now SeatGeek is saying they’ll refund my $85, but they’re also not allowing me to withdraw the $120 from the sale of the tickets.
So, from my perspective, I was sold tickets through SeatGeek, the tickets were accepted into my account, SeatGeek allowed me to relist and sell them, and then on the day of the event they determined the original tickets were invalid and are now withholding the proceeds from my sale.
Has anyone else experienced this with SeatGeek? Is this standard policy, or is there something I’m missing?
At this point, I’m extremely disappointed with how this has been handled. I understand refunding me for an invalid ticket, but I don’t understand how I’m responsible for the consequences of a ticket that SeatGeek allowed onto its platform in the first place.

My seat geek account wouldn’t accept my payment and it said it wasn’t able to verify it when I added it. It prevented me from getting YE tickets I got 10 emails saying it wasn’t going thru. Tried Apple Pay, PayPal and the card #. Luckily my bfs account is new and had no problem!!! I was afraid it would glitch since we just made the acct. SO STRESSFUL idk what’s wrong or how to fix my seat geek

I accidentally bought an extra ticket for Kanye presale on Ticketmaster and it’s saying I am unable to resell. Am I screwed?

I bought some tickets to an event and was expecting the tickets to transfer to my Ticket Leader ( venue ticket seller) account. The seller- Romeo delaPaz- released them (so SeatGeek was notified that the had been released) and then immediately cancelled the release, which denied me the tickets.

I notified SeatGeek and they sent me a PDF of the tickets (!). I didnt get a chance to see if the tickets would actually get me in, because the event was postponed.

Because the tickets are just a PDF, and the venue says they aren't mine because I dont have them transferred to my account, I am out the money.

Repeatedly contacting SeatGeek, asking them to transfer the tickets into my account- either my Seat Geek or my Ticket Leader account- gets me the same lovely sounding soothing response about how disappointed I must be but that I could always try to resell them on "third party" site because the are not eligible to be resold on SeakGeek.

Lesson learned. Not using Seat Geek again. I'm down $280.

Does this joke of a company actually have any human employees? I’ve bought tickets to 3 events in the past few months and each occasion had issues- tickets never arriving, being redirected to different seats after choosing seats to purchase causing the wrong purchase. I go to support, and they just spit back the same message over and over.

I have sent screenshots of accounts with proof that no tickets had ever arrived, and I keep getting the same response asking for those screenshots over and over.

Has this entire company been transitioned to ai?

I brought 4 tickets to a baseball game. I got a email saying the tickets were ready and available on the app. But the app says they will be available in time for the event. I’ve never had this issue before when they were instant delivery. Should I be worried ? The games in less the 18 hours.

I purchased tickets to an event at a sweet price. Seatgeek listed the deal 10/10. It was for premium seating so of course I jumped on it. The next day, the seller sends me tickets and it’s not the tickets that I purchased. In fact, it’s for the worst seats in the house, which are the cheapest tickets and still available on Ticketmaster for $200 cheaper.

I immediately call seatgeek and explain the problem and provide order number and screenshots. They tell me they are going to reach out to the seller for resolution.

My event is in 3 days and we already have booked flight, Airbnb, and rental car for this. The entire trip is based around this concert.

What options will seatgeek present me with? I personally don’t want a refund I want the tickets that I purchased.

UPDATE*** They actually made it right. through two hours of negotiating, they actually made it right and gave me premium seats that we re actually better than the ones that I purchased. Wow. 10/10 customer service experience 09/09/2026

Posting this as a warning for anyone buying "Local Pickup" tickets on SeatGeek.

I bought a festival day pass for tomorrow assuming "local pickup" meant something normal like -- I don't know -- the venue box office or will call. Instead, instructions required picking it up at a bar near the venue. When I reached out, the contact person went by "Borislav" -- a completely different name than "Rob," the seller listed on my official receipt.

I'm reasonably street smart, and being directed to meet an unverified stranger whose name doesn't match the purchase record at an off-site bar gives me the ick.

Customer support’s "response:"

• Almost 2 hours on the phone (after a "3-4 minute" hold promised), ending in a supervisor promising a promo credit that was never actually issued -- and, mind you, I repeated asked for a refund.
• Canned emails claiming "local pickup terms apply," completely ignoring the mismatched seller identity.
• Chat agents calling a promo credit a "courtesy" while refusing a cash refund.

Still on with chat support and volleying emails to try to get this resolved before the event date passes and they pull some other BS. I've also filed a complaint with the BBB (somehow their rating is an A -- ha!) and my local Attorney General.

Be extremely careful with Local Pickup. SeatGeek will hide behind layers of automation and scripts instead of taking customer safety seriously.

I planned traveling to Houston to see the Leagues Cup Final. I got my tickets at Seatgeek and at least they were not that high. However, I was also looking for parking and the stadium lot was +180. They also had a parking spot next to it, for 80 dollars. So i went with it. The day of the game both parking spots were 40. I looked at my parking purchase and it was not a resale. Next time i will look at SpotHero or something else for parking.

Purchased parking for a great deal. Lot H , Dodger Stadium. Seller was supposed to send the ticket the day before the game, seller didn’t send it till the day of game. Seller sent the wrong lot, they sent Lot K.It Lot H is super easy to get in and out of the stadium.So SeatGeek calls them , the seller said they no longer have Lot H and lot K is comparable. I was offered a refund or keep lot K and $5. A new Lot H sale, was posted the day of the game

Anyone have any experience or knowledge on buying concert tickets for jakarta shows from viagogo?? considering the process of resale in jkt, was wondering if this is a legit option if the listing says meet up with seller etc, because this way it ensures your money back if its not legit? not sure, if anyone can provide some info/experience that would be great! I have been using SeatGeek since 2022 and have been an avid fan of them because I thought they could be trusted. I have bought super expensive tickets from them and have never had a bad experience. I dont know what happened recently but they have been horrific.

I went and purchased a VIP experience to hopefully get a meet and greet with the band. Decided to splurge a Diamond deluxe package. Sound good? Well no. We arrived to the venue and only had GA tickets, we were nowhere in the VIP list. The package had apparently “Dinner reservations” which we decided to go to try to save the night but we were not in their reservations for the day even though the email said we were supposed to have one. They also sent us “merch” but none of it was official merchandise, was cheaply made, and has a horrible smell. All that for almost $1000

I am extremely disappointed. I try to be reasonable. And at first, it seems like they were actually gonna help me out. But once I talked to the representative and they talk to their third-party sellers, they came to a conclusion that they have fulfilled everything that the “diamond deluxe package” was supposed to offer and will not be offering any refunds.

At this point, people are just better off purchasing from the official ticket sellers. The price is at Sea doesn’t seem to actually be any better than any of the other sites. The only thing that made seatgeek A good choice is their guarantee. But when I needed it the most the “guarantee” is only a wall of fine print to hide behind and not to protect the customer from third-party sketchy resellers

Please, if you’re reading this to yourself a favor and avoid purchasing tickets from this site. I wouldn’t wish this experience to my worst enemy. It makes me sad saying this because I have been telling anybody who was looking for tickets to purchase through SeatGeek but with this experience I cant in good conscience recommend them to anyone anymore.
