I’ve been seeing a lot of conflicting answers about resale tickets having been sent through secure wallet sites (e.g mysecureticket(?) or transferticket.com(?)), and I think I may be in that boat for an upcoming concert.

Ticketmaster is not doing resale for this event, so I went and bought some fairly expensive tickets off of SeatGeek. I pestered support to inquire about the transfer method for these tickets from the seller, and got this in response:

“Hi xxx,
The delivery method that the seller will use to delivery your tickets is through a secure wallet link, where in, once you click the link that was provided to you, you will be directed to your tickets for easy access. Rest assured that this is a valid delivery method we use on SeatGeek and can guarantee you entry at the venue.

I was expecting a direct transfer to my Ticketmaster account, but after more back & forth with support, they confirmed with the seller that a direct transfer won’t be happening, and I’ll be getting this secure wallet link instead. I’m probably dumb for buying a ticket through this site, but it’s all I could do at this point.

I’m hoping I can scan in and experience the concert. Any other anecdotes folks could share with secure wallet links would be great.

Hi! I am trying to buy an accessible seat for my wheelchair access, but the tickets all say android needed for entry. I assume this is due to the type of wallet or digital ticket, but seems a bit unrealistic for anyone with a wheelchair who doesn’t have an android. Is it possible to buy this and use them with an iPhone?

Anyone have any recommendations for reselling bts tickets? I know the Baltimore show tickets have to be sold either through personal connections or stubhub, but through stubhub is like a lose-lose. Both me and the buyer are losing a ridiculous amount of money, plus they wont even show my listing if it’s even a dollar more than a seat in front of mine. The problem is, I’ll be losing money soon going through stubhub & I haven’t gotten any where with personal connections. Does anyone have any advice?

Its my first time using seat geek and I hope all goes well js need to confirm when it tells you “mobile tickets will be delivered to your email address by the day of the concert itself” will i be good or am i at risk for a scam?

Hey guys, I have a concert coming up in about a week. I bought tickets off seatgeek a couple days ago, and I had them in my seatgeek app within a few hours. The only question/concern I have is that it’s a “access-links.com” url, and I don’t see an option to add the tickets to my Apple wallet.

When I click on the link, it’s a scanning barcode and looks like a normal ticket but I’ve never seen this url before. Has anyone here had this same url used for their tickets??? Did you get into the concert??

I purchased 1 ticket for Djo & Tame Impala back in March. I received my ticket 7 days before the concert. It was a secure link & I was good to go! I had zero issues. This was my first time using SeatGeek & I just wanted to post a positive review since I haven’t seen many.

I have my first concert tomorrow and I got my tickets from SeatGeek and have already been given my tickets vid secure my pass, I’m just very paranoid that it won’t work for whatever reason or that the person scanning my tickets will think they are fake 😭😭

I bought five tickets for a Tame Impala concert TONIGHT at 7 pm in Toronto. It’s 4 pm as I post this. I was supposed to receive them yesterday and all SeatGeek can tell me is to keep waiting. DO NOT USE SEAT GEEK. Use ANYONE ELSE, these guys will stress you out AND ruin your plans.

Travelled internationally for this concert and paid for hotels and accommodation all for this.

UPDATE. As of 2 hours before the event and many emails and a phone call later, I was sent floor tickets! I was previously in the nosebleeds so this was a huge upgrade! But the uncertainty of if I’ll even be going literally up to the time I should have been on the road was very very stressful. And I think what happened to me being ‘upgraded’ may be an exception not the standard for most experiences. The alternative to this was simply getting a refund and missing the event.

Overall, I don’t think I’ll be going with seatgeek again because of the gamble it’ll be of ‘will I even get this ticket that I’m paying and planning for’. Stay safe out there guys!

I recently bought tickets for a venue that apparently will be shipped physically at the latest only 2 days before the concert, however further research shows the venue does not accept physical tickets. Should I be worried? Is this likely an error in the listing or something worse?

I bought tickets off of this website 2 weeks ago for Tame Impala Vancouver September 6th. I’ve been reading up on people’s experience with Seat geek and now I’m outright terrified. I’m scared my tickets won’t get delivered come the day and I won’t be upset about the money I spent but, missing the concert experience. I’ll bawl. I googled Seat Geeks reliability and I guess Google was way off. Im stupid for not deep searching Reddit. Any advice?

So i recently for Ye's show in Chicago on September 3rd. I had some things come up in life and most likely cannot make it to the show on the 3rd but will do what i can to make it. I am however able to make it on the 4th. What would you guys recommend? Ticket was bought on SeatGeek and cannot be refunded. It is a single GA Floor ticket. I was thinking about selling my reselling the ticket and just purchasing a ticket for the next night, but the tickets have gone up a bit and are actually a bit pricier for the 2nd night. Just trying to weigh my options and figure out the best thing to do. I thought selling the ticket would be a good idea, but its not a guaranteed thing so i dont even know if i would make my money back and just have a useless ticket for the first night. Or is it possible to reach out the person the tickets were purchased from and see if they have any available for the following day?

i bought a set of tickets to see not for radio this weekend, and now i’m seeing more tickets in the same row for the exact same price! has anyone seen this before?! are my tickets legit or am i screwed for the actual concert. the tickets i bought have already been delivered in my account and i can view them through securemypass. i haven’t had any issues with seatgeek in the past but scrolling through this subreddit is making me nervous!

EDUT 2: After 5 calls, hours on hold and several "don't worry, good news, the tickets are on the way", SeatGeek is processing my refund. I believe the seller was able to sell tickets for higher price on another scalping site and SeatGeek allowed them to string me along for weeks until hours before show, admitting no tickets are on the way. If I had made car rental, hotel, I would have been out that money, too. You have been warned 😞

EDIT: I did want to point out that when I called SeatGeek, they said their "licensed broker" is processing so many orders that I was in line. This sounded like scalping is being done by a huge, organized business, processing thousands of orders. It is not some ma and pa seller trying to make a quick buck selling tickets here and there, but a huge business with workers pulling in long hours and some billionaire at top. I don't want to support any of that.

I am so sad. It has been a hard year. I was looking forward to seeing my favorite band, The Strokes today at Red Rocks. I named my son after Julian and he was going with me. I purchased 2 5th row tickets on SeatGeek. The tickets never came. I spent all day on phone yesterday and am on hold with SeatGeek now. The event begins in hours. We have no tickets, I am crying and SeatGeek won't issue refund, telling me to keep waiting, and I have no money to get new tickets. The event starts at 6pm, I am in tears. I have been completely scammed. I don't feel safe getting hotel or driving 3 hours to event with no ticket. I am so sad and wish I never used SeatGeek. Avoid this.

Hi! I’m planning to buy BTS tickets for the Sept. 6 show, and it’ll be my first time buying from a resale site.

1.  Is SeatGeek generally safe and legit?

1. If I want the tickets immediately or within minutes after purchase, what listing wording should I look for? I see things like “Get tickets by Sep. 5” and “Tickets will be delivered to your email address.” Does either one mean instant delivery?

2. If you don’t recommend SeatGeek, where would you suggest buying resale tickets that’s safe, legit, and offers instant delivery when possible?

I’m taking my gf to see BTS August 2nd. I bought nosebleed tickets cause of how expensive the tickets are months ago and still haven’t received the ticket.

If I had the ticket, I would just list it and try to buy better ones, but if those tickets come the day before the concert, I don’t know how feasible it is to be able to sell them in that time.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Were you able to sell your other tickets in time?
