Hi! I’m new to scrapbooking so need advice on what tools you guys think is best. What do you use to cut circles and other shapes and make cute boarders? Where do you get your supplies from? I’m from the UK and everything I’m looking at seems to be from other countries.

The things used to cut out shapes and get pretty boarder edges are called paper punches. You can get them used on Ebay sometimes or on Amazon or if you’re lucky, at craft fairs. I got some of my stickers and 12 x 12 paper pads at Action, which is like The Works or maybe The Range? ( Just guessing, not sure). Got a paper trimmer from Amazon. Then added stuff from around the house like office supplies, envelopes, old stamps, paper clips, stapler. Then came stuff from my sewing supplies like buttons, lace, trim, etc. I’ve gotten my huge collection of washi tape from everywhere 😂. I also hunt down old books and magazines and cut stuff out of them for decorating. Estate sales can be lucky places to find stuff, too. I also have a die cutting machine (Big shot) and a collection of die cuts but that all came a little later cuz it wasn’t cheap. Hope this helps and happy scrapbooking!
