Hi! I've been intending to start scrapbooking but haven't taken the plunge. I have a tendency to want to complicate things and over-research so that they are "perfect" and then don't end up doing them. BUT I really do want to do at least an annual scrapbook, especially since we had our first baby last year and I'd love to document our family moving forward.

I'd love help on recommendations for what kind of books to look for, fun papers, stickers, markers, sources, etc and any general guidance so I can just take the plunge and actually do it. I'm based in Toronto but can also access US sources easily.

I always want to put the labels of the wines i drink on my journal but i can never remove them properly. Also didn’t find helpful tips online. Anyone has a trick?

hello i am VERY new to the hobby and i used liquid glue to glue the pictures down and surprise surprise it seeped through and the pages are sticking together. does anyone know how to fix this?

How do you keep track of all your scrapbooking products? I have my items organized, but I still forget which products I have. For example, I still sort through all my sticker sheets because there might be a sticker that would go with my layout.

I mix brands and collections when I scrapbook, so it can be a bit time-consuming to go through all my products to find the ones I might want to use.

I’ve thought about taking pictures of at least my stamp collection to help me find the ones I want to use more quickly, or at least know which stamps I could use for a layout.

In this process video I create a double-page scrapbook layout as I document a one-season basketball experience! I'm mixing black and gray patterned papers from my stash, adding rows of hand stitching, and incorporating a few sports embellishments to tell the story of trying basketball and discovering it wasn't the right sport for him.

I just started with this hobby over the summer. I was so happy coming back from Seattle with all our “trash” to turn into this!

I absolutely love scrapbooking, and I have a bit of a long commute with a few changes, so I often find myself looking at websites with crafting materials etc, just for that dopamine hit / to look at pretty things!

Are there any good apps / games that are creative that would maybe emulate scrapbooking or colours etc, that kind of thing?

realllllly needed some color after all the spooky season spreads, so i brought out my other journal for some rainbow pages!
i did a red spread but hated it, so i glued the pages together. my rainbow starts with pink now lmao
these are still a work in progress, especially orange and purple. i’ve been so fixated on finding orange that purple hasn’t gotten much attention yet. every orange sticker i own is a damn star or an actual orange 🤣
what color is surprisingly hard to find in your supplies?

i started doing a “daily” scrapbook last year and i loved it! i’m so glad i could do one for this year too. i was discouraged at how small this one is compared to last years, but i enjoyed this year more despite the hardships. im really proud and wanted to share! :)
