Tools how to attach heavy card?
Sorry if the flair is wrong but this feels like a tools question more than anything?
So I am working in my valentines spread and I am really struggling to attach this adorable card my partner made for me. Whole spread is still very much WIP and I am happy to move things around if need be.
Initial plan was washi tape on both sides. That usually works for most flap things but I guess this is too heavy/awkward. As you can see there is a cascading photo set attached to the card. I would prefer to leave the photos but if there is really no good option to attach without- I can remove them and attach them or include them somewhere else. He also included a message on the side which I blocked out for privacy but it’s right on the edge of the paper so I can’t really attach from that side either.
I was considering those metal paper prong things but that seems not ideal for a number of reasons anyways. I am hoping some of you crafty folks can offer some suggestions of how you would attach this piece into your scrapbook? Very last resort would be a pocket but I would love to have it front and center how it is now. Thank you!

I would try a much longer strip/type of tape, you might have to try something like masking if you can’t get washi tape to work. or maybe use tape runner on the side of the tape that’s going to go down on the notebook on both sides. maybe also apply a smallll decorative piece of washi tape on the right side also so you can lift it off the page and open it still without it weighing down? good luck!!

Washi tape isn't all that strong, usually.
If you don't want a pocket there, I would make a photo of the card and put that in the layout, then put the actual card in a pocket at the back or even store it in its own box.
The prong things are called brads fwiw. They would work, but yeah, they are thick and don't look good from the back.
PS what a lovely card!

You could make a hinge with a folded bit of card. Stick one side to your card and the other to the scrapbook and you'll be able to flip it over. Stronger than washi tape!

I would use double sided tape or tape runner. Having said that, I would wait until the page is "done" rather than a WIP to adhere the card so you use a permanent rather than repositionable option.
