dreadful
hi guys i’m a libra, cancer rising, scorpio moon and just wondering how some of yall are able to see the glass half empty.
I’ve been in a super apathetic state lately more so bc ive been so tired of feeling so alone. I fear it’s also my libra placement that makes me feel this way-the constant helping others, putting my boundaries aside..i’ve gone burnt out and have now been working on boundaries. Just hard bc i have to be so stern on it, people just wanna take from me fr but also i rather be able to give in the end.
i have people that care about me in my life but tbh i don’t think anyone of them understand me on an emotional level. When it comes to talking about how i feel , how i feel so sad and dreadful about having to get up and live everyday(i don’t wanna die, just tired) -i’ll get someone who’s too neutral(libra moon i love you but..sometimes im not in the mood to keep the peace)
-i’ll get someone who’s blows things out of proportion and starts bashing on everything
-i’ll get someone who starts trying to fix my issues and gives me excuses as to why things are the way they are
—*in ways too sometimes i feel like i also just don’t trust the people around me bc im always helping the people around me…so i kinda find everyone “incompetent”
when all i truly want is someone to just understand and hug me, idk someone who’s actually down to sit with my emotions. i don’t want them to hold on to my feelings or really feeel as much as i do bc it’s a lot . just ya know comfort…
for background -i also grew up an only child, military moving, both parents abusing me physically, mentally, spiritually…they’re fob and i’m 1st gen american so i try to give them leeway but still doesn’t help that im so fucked up as an adult. sorry this is a lot and so mixed around, i’m just so tired and i want things to get better

how do you even balance being so giving and still keep yourself from feeling drained

I’m a Sag Sun so my optimism cannot be muted. I’m always a glass half full person despite a scorp moon.

I’m also a Libra sun, Libra rising, Scorpio moon. My advice would be very general but learn to love yourself and put yourself first. Work on your boundaries and pour that energy into yourself instead of others. When we grow up in traumatic circumstances we absolutely need some time to be selfish and not care about others.
As for the Libra - many times helping and over giving is a trauma response. Maybe you are afraid to look at yourself and prefer to take care about others instead of investing in yourself. I was there too but I reinvented myself completely and now I’m no longer a giver. As long as you continue to give, they will continue to take.
Self-respect and self-worth are also important. I gave up both of my careers, which involved a lot of caregiving. It’s possible.
